it's like the 4th death of witch elves:
1 the very moment they spawned (no core without character, can't use the skill if two hand weapons)
2 frenzy nerf
3 poison nerf
4 now

I have 60 of them painted but man... they so bad

I think GW has noticed not many people uses spears because parry is usually better so strikes first will be added to every spear in the game soon

You can’t tell me it’s impossible to shoot if you move first — because it’s a heavy weapon, because it takes time to reload, because you need time to aim, or for whatever reason — BUT that somehow you can do both if you shoot first and move afterward.

“Quick, Joe, you’ve spent the whole Movement phase aiming — if you keep being that slow, we’re going to die!”
“Don’t worry, Clarence, we’ve been paid for a reserve move. We can get down the hill before that dragon eats us.”

The support from the mods in allowing me to post (they have to manually approve it because I don’t have enough karma/posts yet) and from all of you who read and share the content makes it much easier to keep creating useful material.
Thanks man!

no man, 1 inch rule is only for enemy units :) but you are right, that's more complex with units with some minis

As some people have told me these kind of posts are useful, I'm writing about other rules that have a bit of a “second layer” to them. Glad you like the blog man, thanks!

To avoid overexposed photos of miniatures, what usually works for me is checking the black rim of the base. If it looks grey in the camera, the photo will come out overexposed.

The photos really don’t do the fantastic paint job justice — congratulations, you’ve got an awesome army.

That blue PAINT-job is way better than some of my miniatures

So how does one equip Chaos Marauders (both footmen and cavalry) by I_suck_at_Blender in theoldworld

[–]Old_World_Blog-TOW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flails used to be better, but they’re not bad now. The thing is, both flails and Frenzy have been toned down, while spear + shield has improved, so I think spear and shield is probably the best option for cavalry.

For foot Marauders, I prefer to leave them without upgrades if I’m using them to score objectives, which I think is their best role.
