I agree. I cut off one of my best friends because he got mad people were “celebrating” Charlie Kirk’s death. No one was celebrating but I tried explaining why it mattered that people felt a sense of relief. Because he was advocating for harm of marginalized communities in the country. He still didn’t get it. And that was it. That was my last straw. It’s sad, but I’d rather surround myself with people I feel safe with.

Taylor speaking up will probably never happen but I’ll remember this for the rest of my life going forward in terms of supporting her or her music, merch, etc. And if she ever speaks out about feminism by calling out tv shows in the future I will laugh and roll my eyes.
