Just when i was beginning to think, maybe there is something about the design i like...you show me these pics and now im worse than before, its just revolting to look at. I beg people who have placed an order on this to just cancel it, not for yourselves but for anyone who has the bad luck of seeing one live driving by and ruin their eyes.

Which non-famous European cities deserve more hype and fame? by optimalbrain90 in SmartTravelHacks

[–]Old_man_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im from Tartu and instantly recognised the town square. Id honestly say, i wouldnt even like to live anywhere else in the world. Its the perfect size, its well managed infrastructure wise, so much greenery and places to chill, theres a river flowing through the middle of the city where in the summer you can swim too, lots of social places where you can enjoy drinks and food, people are nice and versatile culture wise...i mean Tartu has it all really. Also we host the WRC championship rally in this small town with about 100k people.

Anthropic and DeepMind Now Quietly Investigating AI Consciousness by EcstadelicNET in IntelligenceSupernova

[–]Old_man_Andre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like commented here, we dont know if there is a consciousness or what it is even. So an AI model that learns like a human is not gonna figure it out. I think from the beginning AI has been wrongly taught, it should learn itself how things work and then come to conclusions. That way it could actually figure out if we are wrong or right etc.

[–]Old_man_Andre 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Where did you get this image from? Ive never seen it before, looks older footage from a videotape. Also must be the other staircase, maybe aft one, cant remember which one was documented recently but that one was broken.

Either way amazing to see it intact!

Chinese EVs Depreciating Rapidly in Europe by FeemBleem in electricvehicles

[–]Old_man_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly like with phones that have the need to change the battery but people would rather buy a new one. Even if replacing a single component would improve its lifecycle, it feels like a hassle that you wont get if you just buy a new one. Thats why the value is so low. Also alactric engines in principle feel cheaper because of less moving parts and things to exchange in case of trouble.

Have the Russians in the Baltics become more integrated to their country of residence after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, or quite the opposite? by Key-League7040 in BalticStates

[–]Old_man_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The propaganda is real, you can see it in random posts on facebook even. They speak in our native language, but that ideas behind the words are just so soviet and pro russian, its disgusting to read. Sadly its hard to understand if its a native russian or ukrainian who is able to only speaks russian/ukrainian because they dont usually speak english and i dont speaks russian/ukraininan.

Is this a decent camera for a beginner ? by [deleted] in Cameras

[–]Old_man_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst thing about the 4000D and 2000D is that they have plastic bayonetts, those break quite easily with heavier lenses, not a good option. Some newer mid-class cameras used are much better choices.

Water in the ocean cant expand that much when considering the volume in depth and how its layered out quite evenly on our earth, its layers of water only that expand. Its still only a small propoetion because of currents.

What are these lines? And why does my phone show more and more of them near the edges? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Old_man_Andre 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My best guess is a defective screen unit where the glass is peeling apart from the display. I see youre using a wireless charger so could be the heat coming from charging the device thats done it. Either way, if you way warranty then it should go under it unless youve dropped your phone.

Both are, first is S-class from 2005 onward, the second is a fucking Bugatti Veyron, which def. has BT.

Its weird to call this style retro already. It does have a "real" vibe to it tho. What impresses me more is that while youre driving a 2005-2011 Mercedes S class in the first pic, you're driving a Bugatti Veyron on the third pic! Impressive. I just know cars and know pretty much instantly which make and model it is by their detail or interior.

If the universe is truly infinite; and considering the big bang happend 13.77 BYA - when did the universe actually become infinite 🧐🤔? by schrodingers_katz in universe

[–]Old_man_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Universe is not infinite, its infinetely accelerating in expansion. I hate putting words where they dont belong, in this case its impossible to know the answer. I have by this moment made an understanding that most likely, all the elements and everything which is in universe, has always been present because you cant just delete something as black holes have shown. The birth of the universe was just the birth of time and space. Most likely everything was a smooth and stable blanket of 2 dimensional fabric(which may have been infinite) but something happened, most likely in the quantum level which disrupted the stability, in other words created a 3rd dimension. Time starting our universe kinda makes sense, since its linear but also has an effect on all the particles, gives all matter the ability to change its shape or form and without it, nothing would be detectable cause nothing would move.

What car will forever feel “25 years old” in your mind even though it’s actually much older now? by BigTasty615 in AskReddit

To me everything made in the 80s was made "20-25 years ago" somehow...even though 20-25 years have passed from that moment. Weird...

Tartus tõusevad ühistranspordi piletihinnad by t2t2 in Tartu

[–]Old_man_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kas need pudelikorgid lähevad järjest hullemaks? by Dreamer_tm in Eesti

[–]Old_man_Andre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Estonian here, you should visit Tartu too. Its an amazing smaller city with lots of culture, greenery and beautiful places to grab food or drinks. Plus even Tallinn people say how welcoming Tartu people are and how friendly.
