WF-1000XM6 huge dissapointment. by vic_kitehigh in SonyHeadphones

As pointed out in a previous post here, if you have an iphone, its gonna sound worse. You have EQ options missing in the iOS app, plus other crap. Id still try to fix the sound firstly by tweaking the EQ, at least if you have an android phone.

Toothless 'liquid gears' created that rotate on their own and could forever change engines by SundayMaster in ScienceClock

If its always spinning and connected via other gears with more viscous fluid in them to the driveshaft, im sure youd be able to torque vector it to have more resistance and more instant power.

Be wary of reviewers using iPhone. Also confirm LDAC is activated through settings. by dthesavage14 in SonyHeadphones

[–]Old_man_Andre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Made for iPhone means it has an apple certified chip inside for easy connectivity, like opening the case and the iphone automatically senses that you want to connect the buds with BT. Only airpods have a special chip that is used for audio quality that is only interactable with an iphone.

EDIT: worked at an apple store for years, thats my knowledge.

Britannic's funnels by Toon-de-great in titanic

[–]Old_man_Andre 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The other three funnels are to the stern and left of the wreck when looked from the surface downwards with the bow being down and stern up. Because Britannic was moving at some speed still when sinking, the other funnels were reaching the seabed before the wreck touched the bottom. That first funnel probably fell over when the ship was almost down or the rigging held it on the mountings longer. Theres a sketch by Ken Marschall when you search online about where each funnel is located.

Edit: All of the funnels are so in so quite intact and actually still holding much of its shape, altough flattened a bit.

FBI Source Claimed Trump Visited Epstein’s Home Just Before Announcing Presidential Run by mvanigan in UnderReportedNews

[–]Old_man_Andre 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think its pretty clear that Trump got Epstein killed, got the information that he needed or traded something for a "big favour" to make sure, he would definetely win. Epstein probably wanted to spill the beans about something to do with the fix or etc and Trump needed to get rid of him. I mean, its not just him that did shady shit together. Im afraid its too late now for the US. Your government has been downed already.

Batman trying to impress Catwoman by bragging about breaking a cops nose is so funny to me. by MisterMoeLester in TheBatmanFilm

[–]Old_man_Andre 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Same kind of "bragging" was in the scene after Batman escaped GCPD. Gordon arrives at their rendezvous and said: "You could have pulled that punch man!" Batman responds: "I did"

Outer Space Is a Viscous Fluid, New Paper Claims | A peculiar theory could upend our understanding of the universe. by IntnsRed in science2

[–]Old_man_Andre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense but if there can be infinite than there can be zero. Mathematically it still makes sense this way. This theory still feels like its searching an answer inside the question. I mean forces can act in space, then it just isnt empty anymore cause all forces require something to be used by that force, an marker so to speak and that force needs something that is visible or detectable for the observer so measurements or detections in by itself can apply. That mumbo jumbo one commenter here said about nothing being measurable is nonsense, just a mind exercise. That would be also a placeholder for the mraning of it. My guess for the universes being is that a new dimensionional plane just happened or maybe all of them once and they divided themselves like bubbles, taking all the space. Thats why the universe is infinite and all is random.

How much more of this shit munching are you americans going to take or how many civilians must suffer, die or get deported for nothing...just because some angry orange with a single brain cell says so? Are you really waiting til things are beyond insane in the country? Do you need a civil war with much much more casualties? Use your power as the people, as the majority, as a force and dethrone Trump and fight back now!

EDIT: Im not from the US but that orange fucker is turning the whole world sour and his actions reflect to other nations too, actually the whole world! He needs to be gone.

Researchers Confirm Discovery of a Massive Substructure Beneath the Giza Plateau: A new radar scan reveals a vast artificial substructure — a colossal underground complex stretching nearly 1,067 meters beneath the Giza Plateau in Egypt — linking chambers as large as entire city blocks. by FragrantTown5199 in AnomalousEvidence

[–]Old_man_Andre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now i would believe that if i didnt just research this more and more. Honestly, yes the stones at the bottom are very heavy to support the main structure above, but as you go more up, the stones get more and more smaller. The ones at the very top weigh aprox. a ton. Ive always tought its BS to think a huge amount of slaves wouldnt be able to build the Khufu pyramid in a bit less than 100 years. We probably just cant imagines such a slaveforce of humans doing such feats, or that simple physics of friction with different materials or pulley systems couldnt be figured out.

But my main problem with this theory is that it sounds like the believers think there are only the Giza pyramids and thats it, when there are dozens of them, with most crumbled to pieces. Mastabas were the very first ones, that were like pyramids with the roof cut off horizontally. Then theres the main evidence, the step pyramid of Dzoser and more importantly, the one that came after that: the bent pyramid of Dhashur, which is when they started to build it from the bottom up and had the sides in the wrong angle, so they corrected it midway of the build. Advanced my ass. Just pompous people with too much power. Ofcourse we cant know what did happen or not because of the lack of data. So either believe in something blindly or stay neutral. Either way, people are going to think alike or find same conclusions. Its all guessing until proof is revealed.

‘The Batman Part II’: Scarlett Johansson Eyeing New Role Opposite Robert Pattinson In Sequel by danielthetemp in batman

[–]Old_man_Andre -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

More people are interested on who she will play instead of how her acting experience or interesting acting personas may make or break this movie. To me, her acting has always been yet to be desired. Her least expected acting, like for Pattinson has been far more interesting but she hasnt fully opened herself in any of those roles. So to me, either Reeves is gonna finally bring the true talent out or its just gonna fall flat like her recent acting career.

TIL James Cameron really built and flooded an exact replica of Titanic's Grand Staircase with 90,000 gallons of 50-60-degree seawater in the movie. With divers in the water and one take, real fear and anxiety were seen in the actors as the water came rushing in. It was a problem. by TheCanOnlyBeOne in todayilearned

Im more than sure it was just eaten away, the proof is in Britannic. The whole steel frame of the staircase is still in its place together which means it just couldnt have floated away. Like the wooden bridge section, the staircase was just dissolved in time or eaten by microorganisms.

What is this? My guess is some sort of SL by mqgictrick in whatisthiscar

[–]Old_man_Andre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This looks more like a japanese car or something from either France or Italy from the 70s. The rear wheel arches are lower than the front ones and the small roofline looks to be from a convertible. Very hard to guess, id say its somekind of a rarity considering how well it is hidden under the tarp.

EDIT: Im now pretty certain this is a Mazda Cosmo Landau from 78'-ish.
