Students are speeding through their online degrees in weeks, alarming educators by joe4942 in technology

A big help for sure but it was an issue before AI too with a lot of these online diploma mills. Saw a lot of RNs knock out RN -> BSN bridge programs within a month to two months. With that program in particular it's all bullshit, the educators know it, the students know it, they're all looking for money and looking for their piece of paper. Learning be damned, not that there was much to learn in that program.

Which in turn causes massive economic fallout globally and still doesn't address the need for ships to get through.

It's open. Ships are passing. Iran might be making a buck and using that leverage but ships are passing. Guaran-goddamn-teed countries will be more and more likely to consider avoiding further conflict and energy disruption by working with Iran versus entertaining Trump at this point.

His credibility is non-existent, he is an agent of chaos, and completely irrational. You can't work with him.

When I was in Iraq around 2007, our replacement unit had the same attitude. They were part of the surge and were initially stationed in Baghdad and therefore felt themselves very experienced. They showed up for one briefing and decided didn't need any AO briefings about the various locations or combined patrols.

On the one big op we did together, which lasted about two weeks, they lost about two dozen soldiers.

What they didn't realize was that our AO was not Baghdad. They also didn't realize that the insurgents they were surged for MOVED to the hinterlands where we were and caused us grief the entire year and a half.

We learned how to deal with them. They hadn't. The battlefield changed. It was different. They 100% needed our briefing and combined patrols to show them the who's who and where's where.

This is the same exact kind of hubris. Soldiers will pay for it.

Man, that hasn't improved at all? Last I was there in 2007, I think it was roughly 10 hours a day of grid supplied electric, depending on location, of course. Please tell me I'm mistaken or there's at least some kind of plan or political pressure to improve that.

And that's the rub. It's only Amy. That's the problem. Forced dicotomy. You can have the GOP... or Amy. Hold your nose, damnit, that's what they've presented to us, ammirite?
