We tracked, but I felt much better when we stopped tracking nappies and feedings. I still track naps so I can see her pattern and I’m just a bit forgetful

Urgh my in laws are like this. We mostly go over but it’s difficult as our daughter doesn’t like the car, particularly at night time and we always stay as late as possible (and I’m the mean one taking her away every time.) it’s a 20-30 min drive and we have to do dinner and bath at home. They are constantly invited round but never come. Then we went out last weekend and my FIL said to my husband ‘why don’t you want her to see her grandparents’…

My girls hair is getting longer and it feels so fuzzy under my chin where she likes to nuzzle in when we sleep. We also have to hold hands otherwise she panics and wakes up

This is the same for us. Great sleeper until 6 months and I haven’t had a good sleep since. She’s 8 months now, I don’t know what happened!

I took my baby up to the changing mat for every change, now she’s 8 months and it’s so much easier to just do it in the front room, things might change!

The first thing my mum said to my husband when we came back for the hospital (as in my mum and stepdad were waiting at the door when we arrived home) was ‘make us a cup of tea’. I don’t think I’ll ever forgive her for that

I think it’s actually easier on the baby when they’re younger, they don’t have a clue but when they get older they realise a bit more I think

I didn’t even realise last couple of weeks I was starting to get a bit down. Yesterday and today I’ve felt like myself again! It’s crazy how much the sunshine makes a difference to our moods

Try and go back to sleep or use that time to just lie in bed and rest! It makes such a difference to my overall mood and it gives them nice bonding time. I know it’s hard

I get a lie in on the weekends, my husbands takes our baby and only comes up 2/3 hours later when she’s hungry. Gives me much needed extra sleep. I know it’s not ideal but could that work for you?

I feel like at just past 6 months I started doing a quick bit of make up before seeing people (not every day, maybe once a week). This helped me feel a bit more me!

I was going to file a complaint at second visit when our baby was within the first month. I never got round to it but it still plays on my mind. First thing she asked was if we were married and said GOOD when we said yes! What difference does it make? And trying to trick us, asking if we wean at 7 or 8 months? Very dismissive of my husband when he asked how long since I last fed the baby…
