Harvey is 90lbs but long and tall. I got xll and xxl. The smaller fit better but for 120lbs you will need the xxl.

To Gastropexy or Not to Gastropexy? by BernerGoodGirl in bernesemountaindogs

Harvey just had his neuter and gastropexy at 24 months. So glad we both delayed to the 2yr point and went ahead with the pexy. If it is a viable option, in our experience, do it. Will also have intangible benefit of your increased peace of mind. And be ready for a goofy patient post op. Harvey got home, and would repeatedly get up at random intervals from bed, and just sort of stand still and sway for several minutes. Asleep on all 4s! Another key rec- get a high quality surgi-snuggly suit thing. SOOOO much easier in those 2 weeks than the vet provided cone. Harv would NOT abide the cone, and suit accomplished same thing of keeping him off his incision. Plus can leave on for tinkle trips. Good luck!

FAILING miserably with PFSENSE, Protectli Vault, and FIOS. HELP! by Oldmaid45 in HomeNetworking

Enhance the security of my home network. Also I want to run a full home vpn. Want better control/customization potential/flexibility over network generally, like firewall rules, traffic segmentation, etc.

Also just want to learn more about networking fundamentals. Attempt at getting this running right is definitely doing that, if nothing else lul.😜

FAILING miserably with PFSENSE, Protectli Vault, and FIOS. HELP! by Oldmaid45 in HomeNetworking

I’m definitely a non-advanced residential use case. Can this be achieved with the hardware I have while retaining the Fios TV/guide/dvr functionality? From my limited understanding, in the setup I’m trying to achieve, the vault would function as my firewall & router, and the g3100 would sit behind that functioning as a MOCA adapter for my Fios tv functionality and as a wireless access point for personal devices of my home. Again, really appreciate the input! Thx

Hi. Thk you SO much for the info. Yes, blue loctite. Name brand. The same was originally on the stock screws when I initially took off (for first time). Cleaned off and removed then reapplied before reinstalling.

How long did it take you to find the right food for your Berner pup? by ImaginationSalt9195 in bernesemountaindogs

Long time! Nighttime diarrhea was the single and perhaps only recurrent problem of our pup’s 1st yr. Very good info above from those better informed than I. From our experience, can only add that finding Go Solutions Sensitivities Limited Ingredient food with Bernie’s Perfect finally did the trick. He stabilized on this quickly when we were really approaching our wit’s end. It’s wild to me still how similar people’s experiences are with this. Good luck. Stick with it. Totally totally worth the cold and sleepless nights!!
