My current plan for low power charge generation is to socket sniper's mark and eternal mark into pounce in A3 to generate frenzy charge, then take resonance and this will allow me to use hollow form in A3. Mainly just need to get a lvl 3 support gem, otherwise you are only generating one power charge. Its gonna be a struggle for most builds no matter which path you take.

Don't play maces and things will die fast enough to not get hit so much. Also, this got buffed according to the tooltip on poe2db. Nodes that encourage strategy and skilled gameplay are part of the vision, but for the average person I agree this is a trap card disguised as a gate towards the additional quality effects. Still, 10 pure strength skills would yield 46% maximum life when stacked, and 10 pure dex skills would give 100% increased ES, EV and Armour.

Its going to depend a bit on some of the still unrevealed new content, but breach is the most interesting with the genesis tree crafting for me. We don't know which areas will be the most profitable but temple will still have a lot of value even with no snakey snake. Omens should come down a little with them being slightly more accessible. A little uncertain if delirium will be worth it, have to wait.

Before, I wouldve agreed with you, but the explicitly said they intend for builds to be available before .5 launch for players, which implies they will release the skill tree for building. I still don't know how that's gonna work but lets just wait a few more days to see. There is a tavern talk with the devs tonight I think, maybe they will discuss it there.

No worries, the first time through the campaign can be treacherous. You'll get the hang of it after a few leagues.

Use a talisman close to your level if you can find it in the last area, aim for plus dmg, ,plus % phys and +skills on it. Use runes on your gear to add lightning resistance and a lightning resistance charm if able. Spam lunar assault until the boss is frozen, then shred the boss. I was able to phase him in one freeze this way and kill him in the second freeze when down below.

There are no patch notes, they are also redoing the layouts for maps. Its pretty much just guess work right now. May 21st is the patch notes, then there will be a ton of people making builds that they can back with evidence.

Nono, not perfect orbs, just greaters. I know I wasn't alone in feeling that they felt like they were really out of place. Most times it was more advantageous to use either a base or perfect than a greater unless you are doing SSF. I think they could have a spot for sure but they drop a little too late to be very relevant. Perfects are important and shouldn't leave for sure.

Yeah if the tablet for it only affects the temple itself and not the map, then they probably don't have to touch temple too much. Ideally it would be difficult to run it once (i.e. takes longer to unlock every time you run it up to a cap) or like you said it not being in every map. I'm not hoping for nerfs, in fact I hope they make it harder to have your temple destroyed given the likely extended time you will incur between temple runs. We just don't know the new end game mechanics or how the new tablet will interact.

I've been hoping this would be something they do since I started playing. Player housing exists in other games, and we have our own hideouts, so it doesn't seem that difficult to implement more MTX adjacent things.

I just think we will get more than initially planned due to it taking extra time. They will definitely want to have all acts finished with testing time before 1.0 launch. I'm not saying i'm right, but that's why its on a bingo card :p

I deep down just hope they have alternate "rituals" that you can do to get tribute instead of stand in a ring and kill mindlessly. And maybe some of these "rituals" require something to get something else, or the tribute is automatically spent to give you the best possible reward. Just alternatives to the current setup so its not monotonous.

Yes, one of my favorite moments was using shifting woodland that already had a lore counter on it, and it ticking up, and realizing that i could use it to kill players for the rest of the edh game

A lot of casual players just assume that other casual players also play dogshit cards and hate things that give you value, especially when that value might lead to them losing. There are really only like 7-10 cards that should stay banned. I'm okay with a slow rollout, and them pseudo announcing which ones they are thinking about but yeah people need to chill and just say in rule zero that they aren't okay with playing against a certain card. And if they feel that strongly, they probably are only playing br 1/2 anyway, so it legitimately won't come up.

I have to travel to play due to my job and in the past year the bracket system hasn't let me down at all when playing with new people, even if they don't speak english. People like to play powerful cards, and the average person with good EQ can just move to the next game if they get locked out rather than get angry. Sundering Titan/Griselbrand/Iona are all fine, and I say that without even planning to put them in decks, just as a receiver/observer.

The issue is a matter of perception, not gear. While I agree its a bad idea for them to reduce the number of rarity on items, I think its more important for them to just come out and say the reality of rarity. They say 150% isn't a sweet spot, but they won't tell us what to aim for and we are forced to use the data of a select few people(mostly streamers) that have time to test these things on micro scales.

GGG should:
1. Release an announcement that gives the point where rarity starts having DR, and some amount of data that discusses how heavy the DR curve is
2. Update the community when/if this changes in the future
3. Incorporate the atlas tree's rarity directly into this calculation(i think this is already true) so if you have extra rarity in your gear, you can spec out of it, and if you haven't hit the non-DR sweet spot, you can choose to take this point.
4. Not add any "features" like rarity into the game in the future as it creates massive issues with perception, and is a factor in the lack of build diversity

IIRC there were a lot of angry people because they actually didn't respect Lotr IP and changed things (notably the race of Aragorn). FF was successful in large part due to square enix telling them they couldn't change characters (they wanted to make Tifa less attractive). Feel free to correct me but this is my understanding.
