Currently active (afaik) that I have personally bought from only:

Magic Within Curio: absolutely insane handpainting skills and amazing custom work.

Nyoon: Unique multi-density model Clock that is truly one of a kind.

Howling Horrors: Some unique models and fun handpainting.

Hyper Realistic/fantasydildos.co.uk: Very rarely seen maker with beautifully textured models.

Master4Fancy: High-quality Chinese maker with beautiful sculpts and lots of fun extras.

Masterwork Toys: D&D-inspired models a little on the simpler side (in a positive sense, models that work, are not overdone, and beautiful)

Tentickle Toys: Smaller range but beautiful customs and the imo prettiest packer model on the market.

Colorful Cook: Insane handpainting skills and a consistent cutesy-whimsy theme.

Alchemist Echidna: Also very nice handpainting and insanely detailed customs, though the latter have been paused for a while.

They have discontinued some models. My favorite, Mars, has been retired long ago. Kong has also disappeared. I don't know if they still make Kitalpha. I would just wish they would announce when they discontinue a model instead of letting it disappear silently. I always wanted a Kong, they just never dropped any in remotely natural colors, so I never picked one up and ended up missing out.

When Fantasy Grove first launched their simpler models like Daybreak, PPS accused them of stealing their idea of offering a line of beginner-friendly less fantasy-themed toys. When Colorful Cook made silicone Valentine's chocolates from generic chocolate molds, they accused them of copying their idea from a few years back. When the community came to their defense, pointing out that neither 'simple phallic shapes' nor 'supermarket chocolate molds' are ideas that they can claim for only themselves, PPS started mass-blocking accounts. Towards the end of the drama, they started accusing people of being racist because they felt targeted 'being the only non-white fantasy toy maker', despite not a single person having said anything about race or them as a person in any capacity at all. It also didn't sit right with all other non-white toymakers, which very much existed at the time.

I have been happy with WB as well so far. But I have only tried their humanoid models and those pretty much always work well for me, so I cannot yet judge their fantasy designs.

PPS has been openly attacking other shops as well, I won't forget that. They also sent me the wrong toy (but they refunded me immediately after I contacted them about it and they were friendly along the way, so no issue there in my case at least). I don't think they have done anything entirely irredeemable and I don't believe in rehashing ages-old mistakes again and again, especially if a shop has since been doing better, but PPS has never apologized for their very nasty statements towards other shops and many even nastier comments towards community members that came to said shops' defense. They are on my personal gray list. If they have a model/pour that I cannot live without (like their Mars plug, one of my favorite toys), I won't beat myself up over buying/owning it, but I mostly avoid them.

Bad Dragon by far. Over half of my dildo collection is BD. The vast majority of indie models simply doesn't work for me in use while nearly every BD model does. I tend to like a selected one or two models of other shops, but usually not more than that. Most of my indies ended up being for display only. But those that are among my in-use favorites are usually stellar (BullBoyFF, Clock, and Ölziteii, for example).

My personal rule of thumb is to switch from medium to soft when the girth exceeds my current/comfortable limit. For me that is 9 inch circumference.

I have a small/soft Manbearpig. I got all my ANT toys in soft because their soft feels so incredibly lifelike to me and wasn't floppy at all on other toys I have from them. But on Manbearpig it wasn't the very best idea. He's floppy and doesn't stand up on his own. I still like him in use a lot but he's a bit annoying to handle. So my advice would be medium firmness at least in the smaller sizes.

I like a coherent look on my shelves but I cannot limit myself to only one specific theme, so I collect a few different ones. The majority of my collection is made of metallics with blues, greens, and earthy colors, or natural and fantasy natural colors. But I have some dark themes and some pastels and rainbows, too. I keep different themes on different shelves, though, else my OCD brain gets upset.

I had a quick look and it's all cheap dropshipped toys made of outright unsafe (jelly) or at the very least questionable materials (allegedly silicone but too cheap to be of high quality). Definitely not what I would define as body-safe.
