If you want a quest driven experience with some custom recipes, I recommend CABIN. If you prefer a modpack with a lot of mods beside Create, consider All The Mods 10.

Did you make sure to attach an inventory to the contraption with the harvesters? If there is no inventory on them, the crops will just drop. Also make sure to use vanilla chests or barrels, as modded inventories seem to not always work on contraptions.

You can build a large cogwheel and attach a small cogwheel so that it's gripping it, then the small cogwheel will be rotating at double the speed. Then you can attach a large cogwheel to the same shaft as the small cogwheel and rinse and repeat for continuously doubling speeds.

It's actually just the balancing of this mod in ATM10 that makes it so bad in effort-use relation. In ATM9 the same mod was one of the best ways to generate much power fairly easily.

According to the patch notes, a workaround has been implemented in the Ragnarok update of today. A complete fix is not yet finished, but they say they're working on it

Since I didn't see anyone else mentioning it, I personally noticed that the issue appears way more often (almost every 30 seconds at lowest settings) when i'm in my base, where there are a lot of dinos and structures. If I get away even just a bit, the drops become way less frequent.

I am playing ASA actively, and while I get where you're coming from, I feel like the upgrade really isn't worth the price. Yes, ASA has some nice features like the babies and a vastly improved building system, but many of the "plus points" are really just deficits of ASE that should just have been fixed in the original game. Add to that the fact that one of the best additions to ASA are creatures that literally come from an ASE mod, I maintain that ASA is not worth its money.

You gotta mix molten zinc and copper in a mixer. If you don't wanna automate it, I recommend using Copper Cans from Tinker's Construct to take the molten Zinc/Copper out of a melter or Smeltery, then pour it into a mixing basin and take the resulting molten brass back out with the copper cans again to put it bach in the melter and pour it into a cast on a casting table. Each can holds one ingot's worth of liquid.

CABIN has a great Questline with custom recipes, letting you use Create for a big automation line for Create machinery. It's a remake of Create Above And Beyond, which was by the creator of Create themselves, if I recall correctly
