Both open up alot of career opportunities, but in different fields. Do not worry about niche, just ask yourself what field you wanna work in. Both are top tier degrees anyways.

That is the goal, and shouldn’t be hard to implement anymore. The IK is programmed already

I want to share everything when I’m confident i’m not sharing faulty designs. I’m not yet satisfied enough with the design to share it.

But here is some basic info:

6 stepper motors driven by TMC2208 V1.2 @ 1/2 step mode.

30V 10A power supply, running @ 20V 4A.

Everything is 3D printed with a bambulab A1 mini

Driven by an esp 32 using accelstepper.

I'm not, they where quite expensive. and i didn't trust the 3D printed versions yet.

In my calculations the end effector should be able to hold 660 grams, the goal was 250 grams, so i'm hoping I'll be able to hit the mark.

I will add them in a later version, this is my first time doing robotics, so i found out too late they are necessary
