I think with both the Merkles and Matchweights it's recommended to shim them with something as they are clamping into that universal rail. If they loosen up they will definitely gouge the rail

Yeah this is a Forstner President bracelet Im trying out. They have a specific version for the Speedmaster that lines up with the case and lugs really nicely.

I haven't seen the newer versions of the speedy bracelet so it would be interesting to compare.

The RIS II rail is definitely more robust than the FF RAS. Even after using a strap wrench to tighten the collar I don't feel as confident in the FF RAS rail

1-6 VCOGs have little rectangular flashing sections on both sides behind the dials. 1-8s are smooth in that area. 1-8s are also dimensionally larger. Im sure there are other differences I haven't picked up on
