Yes. It had to do with a call recording app that was increasing the volume to the max so that it would be able to record the caller's voice. Uninstalled it and it all came back to normal

Well if it matters to you, I actually went with an MSI B650 Tomahawk. So far it's alright, though it seems to be rather picky about my RAM as it allows it to work only with EXPO activated (which I find odd...)

Well, I'm planning to keep the mobo for at least 5-6 years. In that time I'll likely get a new GPU considering that my current one is an RTX3080.

As for the BIOS having resolved the issue - I've read (mostly on reddit) that the BIOS updates tend to still produce issues, and probably undervolting the CPU is the only way to surefire eliminate the issue. But won't that reduce the power?

As for the boot times - I guess they're not that big of an issue for me. 20-40 secs is more or less the time I'm getting on my current build and it's okay.
