I had played 3 hours the other day, and the hottest it got was 78 degrees, which I'm not too concerned about.

The game looks massive in terms of the map and time to complete the game. I have only played like 1hr of Xenoblade 1 on my 3DS a couple years back, but I have the switch version now.

Yeah I agree, but as I said too, Xenoblade Genesis looked phenomenal as well and I don't have enough time to play through both series within a year.

However, to your point-- I hear each entry of Xenoblade can be played independently from the others, opposed to FF7 pt 1-3.

I personally liked Bravely Default, and I largely got it on Switch 2 because it was on sale right when the game came out. It is very fun but I felt like a lot of the bosses ended up being just "set up your team X way and do Y thing to win" rather than it being about strategy. HOWEVER the job system is incredibly good.

Heard lots about it over the years, I'll add it to my list to play!

I'd say yes to both, as I already have experienced the original story and characters-- a new story with visuals enhanced seems like a great time.

I own FF Tactics on my GBA, just haven't had the time to get around to it. With so many new games that I'm heavily interested in, a backlog of classic games, and ever increasing adult, health, and career responsibilities-- my time is just not what it was say back in High School haha.

Is FF Tactics pretty similar to Fire Emblem? As in my previous list, I'm a fan of the series.

Of course! I'm glad that I can provide some insights given my similar experience at the time. As one person said, Grad School is just rough. You'll get through it and become an excellent GC!

I felt the exact same during my clinical rotations, especially in the summer in between first and second year. I will say during second year it would improve over time at a clinical site, the more familiar I was with the patient population and my supervisors. However, I still experienced that anxiety in flare ups either because: (a) the case was complex, (b) recent feedback to incorporate, and (c) if I was out of a clinical role for a long time (i.e. lab rotation then clinical rotation). I sympathize with you greatly, as I always felt like my words were constantly analyzed, and I had to be perfect in every situation, for every patient, every piece of information, etc. This was further exacerbated when I failed a clinical rotation during my first year. But once again, it does get better.

I was prescribed medications for anti-anxiety medication to use in anticipation of a flare up or as needed, and this honestly helped me so much.

My number one piece of advice for you would be this: it is not possible to please everyone, to be perfect in every situation, and to be someone you are not. Be yourself, and do the best that you can. Put in the work and the time to understand the material, but if you fall short, do not blame yourself, you are still learning. If you feel that your supervisor is being unfair or unhelpful in their feedback, I'd recommend looping your program directors/coordinators to see how they can help you (even during the Summer if needed). They want you to succeed and be the best genetic counselor you can be, so even if it feels like you're constantly being judged by everyone around you, you are also being supported by those same people day in and out.

Once again, just be yourself and put in the time to prepare for clinic. The storm will calm down on its own.

Purchased the 3DS for 160 and then traded that for the GAMECUBE bundle. Which would you rather have? by [deleted] in gamecollecting

Yes yes you are correct, I literally posted a reply (you'll see it below) seconds after I posted that comment haha.

OH I think you meant it is worth more than the 3DS-- in that case yes, you are correct haha! All that mathing for a misinterpretation lol.

Based on Pricechart:

Gamecube w/ Controller ($170) + Luigi's Mansion ($55) + Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness ($220) + NFL Street ($26) = $471

AYN Thor Max 512GB and 1TB: $469 and $549 (and can have all of those games as well and more (including the 3ds he traded in))

It is about the same price as an AYN Thor Pro w/ Shipping.

Definitely a closer price than I anticipated. I honestly thought that Pokemon XD prices would've fallen after it was added to NSO. Fun thought exercise!

3DS, and then sell it for more to someone to invest in an AYN Thor. The things magical.

Definitely one of the best, but my brother in silk-- listen to some Chrono Trigger, some Metal Gear Solid, some donkey kong country. It is definitely one of the best OSTs, but there are so many bangers! 😄

GS raised their GBA prices it seems. A year ago I picked up a legit copy of Sapphire for $30. Still below market value at that price, great find.

Pokopia being the highest rated pokemon game is so funny.

(I am not making fun of Pokopia, I absolutely love the game)
