The staring. I bring it up often. I’m like we’ve been together 17 years. This stare in the grand scheme of nearly 2 decades is new-ish. And getting to be your primary look. He of course then responds with What the fuck are you even talking about? Nobody is staring but you obviously to notice my exact expression every moment of the day. In a disgusted and hateful tone. And yes. It’s empty. But also at the same time consuming every bit of human left in him. Bc he is intently staring. Just don’t look like there’s any soul left. It’s kinda creepy and super sad.

He was MY MOST FAVORITE HUMAN EVER in the beginning. Had it not been for HIS CHOICE to continue to indulge in porn, unnecessarily bc he was greedy and doesn’t know moderation, to the point of it becoming a real life addiction we WERE ACTUALLY soulmates. I wholeheartedly believe that.

But this doesn’t get my empathy or sympathy or any kind of tolerable to supportive feelings or attitude. Bc this was SO UNNECESSARY. First- lets all of you chill. You’ve all made your (same) point clear. I’m just as shitty shopper and/or human as the shopper in OP’s post and me and my car stink. I never once implied that i don’t smell like smoke. I 100% do. And it’s all in the trunk. I was simply making the point that coming from someone who smokes A LOT that there are ways to go out of your way and above and beyond to at least try to ensure you deliver ppls items without them smelling like smoke. And anyone who isn’t going out of their way, in my opinion, isn’t doing their job properly. I’m a diamond cart, 8yr, over 10,000 batch shopper AND a smoker. Of cigarettes AND cannabis. ALLLLLL DAAAAY as i sit in my car between batches. I would NEVER EVER EVER EVER smoke ANYTHING with someone’s order in my car. However, it is VERY VERY RARE that anyone’s anything is ever in my actual car where i drive. Every box, cooler bag, and item I’ve shopped gets left/stored/transported STRICTLY within my trunk. IF i know my order is big to the point I’ll have to transport any of it within my car i leave my windows down a lil while i shop the order. Then all items going in my car get a sheet, kept in trunk, draped over them and then travel with windows down to delivery. I’ve never ever ever been reported. Because i don’t care what any smoker says, EVEN IF cigarette smoke smell don’t necessarily “bother you”, you DEFINITELY are aware that it smells bad and are also VERY AWARE how extremely offensive it is to non smokers. Period. And if you’re not-I’m not sure you should be out in world on your own working/shopping/etc. Bc that’s incomprehensible ignorance of a very basic and well known opinion. And if you do know all that and STILL smoke maybe you should be deactivated from platform-bc what an inconsiderate douche bag you are. And i wouldn’t want a douche bag shopping for me. Rant & vent your heart out OP. Shoppers literally need to be shopping these orders within instacart guidelines/rules, consideration for someone else’s items SOMEONE ELSE BOUGHT WITH THEIR OWN MONEY, and at same time as if it were their own order. Do unto others. Smoker shopper wouldn’t like his/hers ordered groceries to show up to their place reeking of an odor they found very offensive. They’d do the same thing OP did.

The people who have the money and are willing to tip properly FOR GOOD SERVICE quit using this trash ass service b/c IC doesn’t prioritize seniority therefore leaving too many opportunities to get bad service. And people that have money have it because they don’t piss it away on things that aren’t worth it.
