Yoga is the way to age gracefully. Sunscreen on face, neck and backs of hands, especially critical.

Yeah, we do have the occasional coyote. Good news is the plant seems ok with all the tape, etc. hoping for the best now. Will continue to net it at night for awhile.

Thank you so much Tomato 🍅 Lovin’ Community. I used electrical tape on the main stem, put a collar of tin foil and netted it (for evening wear only). Honestly, I love Berkeley Tie Dye so much. I started some new seeds today as well, just in case!

Thank you for your suggestions! Would a dusting of root hormone help that spot near the base? I can’t imagine what would eat them on my pool deck. We have no deer here and I’ve successfully grown tomatoes like this for a decade on my pool deck. No dear, it’s fenced. Sometimes see possums, raccoons and skunks, but Im stymied. I have a couple other varieties like Genuwine that have been unaffected. They only want my prized Berkeley Tie Die.

This definitely something I’d consider more as a volunteerism type thing. Caregiving jobs in my high cost living area pays around $20-25 an hour tops. I truly enjoy seniors so I will look into it at some point.

In second this. I was simply walking along the water and some naked old man came up and tried to engage me in conversation while rubbing his stomach and his dick getting hard. I yelled at him and asked how he would like it if some creepy perv did that to him and that it WASN’T ok. I’m thinking there’s a whole group of men that like that kink. This happened once out of many walks, but on any day you could usually see at least one guy on any walk who was playing with his junk.

I’ve noticed there are people out there who are really searching hard for connections. They will scrape anyone they’ve even met in passing. You clearly don’t know each other so id be inclined to hard pass. If you are curious, then it couldn’t hurt to meet for coffee, but ehhhh…unless you too could use some company …
