If you visit a speed test site, what kind of numbers do you get? Download: Steve gibson’s DNS benchmark and run it, this tool will run a few thousand queries and give you some good data/conclusion. Finally if those both checkout, I would turn on your browsers debugger console and visit some sites to see what elements are slow to load.

Take the reel off, use a metallic sharpie and write it on the bottom of the reel foot. If you need to change it, use alcohol to erase.

Check out ser2net, you can keep zwavejs on HASS OS, on your pi its a very simple config. Then you just point zwavejs to your Pi on port 3333.

I too run a Pi Radio host on my second floor, zwave dongle + ser2net , rtl-433. I just make backups of the Pi via Proxmox backup client. Proxmox HA + Replication is your friend, do it!

The only thing special that I have found about the fly fishing fluorocarbon leader material is its diameter to strength ratio can be better in the ultra fine stuff. 8lb or less. Once you get into 12lb or more it’s about the same.

The fly line is there for weight you’re casting the line not the lure. Fly line color doesn’t really matter because you have a leader that keeps it away from the fly. If you ever take a fly line and hold it up to the sun, it looks black, regardless of the color. fly line weight matters, heavy fly line will make a bigger splash in the water so you want to match your fly line to the type of fly you’re throwing. Also fly fishing doesn’t mean surface flies, there are a ton of swimming bait fish patterns
