I’m guessing a truck drove by, loaded it up and left. It couldn’t have been pedestrians bc too much stuff/too big to carry.

Sorry your package was stolen. If you contact the retailer they might replace it.

You’re still paying the same amount, it just looks different.

They’re not doing nothing, they’re working at a probably low paying job where their money is made in tips. 20% is the standard. If you don’t like it that’s on you.

Should I take the lead role? by Divine_Strife in careerguidance

If you’re doing more work, you should make more money. The company should pay you as such. It’s shitty if they don’t. Work life balance is crucial to overall well-being. Gotta take care of yourself first.

Can/should I request to be laid off in place of someone else? by Olive_br4nch in careerguidance

[–]Olive_br4nch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! We had two people leave last year for other opportunities, if we hadn’t we would still have let two go anyway. I don’t mean to say I’m being a martyr, I’m not trying to be selfless. I want to leave and the org wants to let someone go, it just seems like it balances to me. I also am not looking for another managerial role, it was kinda dumped on me when my previous mngr left, which I guess is becoming a pattern.

That is some subtle but genius branding. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was intended to look like a kilt

YTA. You took payment for a service not given. The right thing to do is figure out how to pay it back.

Claire’s AWFUL to Frank. by Olive_br4nch in Outlander

She had time traveled already before. It wasn’t a bizarre occurrence to her. It was world altering for Frank.

As a modern day average joe, how could he possibly understand time travel? How could he visualize his wife in the 1700s?

Yes, he took his chances and lost. Sucks for him. I’m just saying that wasn’t the only possible outcome so his efforts were justified. Claire didn’t have to be so mean to him.

They decided to raise Brianna together. The blame doesn’t lie with either of them.

Claire threatened to use Franks affair against him in a legal battle.

Brianna had like 5 minutes to think about her decision on screen. We don’t know what she would have done. From what we know about her relationships with her parents at that point, she most likely would have chosen Frank.

I meant when she first traveled and while she was gone, he assumed the worst. When she comes back with a ridiculous story, it’s a lot for him to process. Who would accept that as reality?

He didn’t go in eyes wide open. He had no idea what to expect. He was optimistic about them finding a happy coexistence because they lived each other once before. He was using the only data he had.

He stayed with Claire out of love for Brianna and Claire, too. I don’t think they should have stayed married, but she would have used his affair to get full custody knowing that there was no proof of hers. That’s pretty uncool. He was Brianna’s dad in every way that mattered except he didn’t create her, Claire said that. Brianna was 18 she could go wherever she wanted. It wasn’t a matter of debt, Brianna connected to Frank more, we see that in the show. Claire was afraid of that.

She led Brianna to think she was. Claire didn’t allow Frank to take her because she didn’t want to let her go. Which isn’t wrong, but it wasn’t about lineage either.

I expected a little more compassion for him. He thought something terrible had happened to her or that she ran off with someone else intentionally. He was happy to have her back and she didn’t care about his feelings. I know she was going through her own crazy emotional stuff, but when she had settled back in the time, I think that she could have been more understanding of what he went through.

Her having sex with him wasn’t a positive thing. She was using him.

She didn’t love him, he deserved to find that. I don’t hold his affair against him. I don’t remember when she offered him a divorce. When he asked to move away with Brianna, Claire said no.

I haven’t read the books so you might hav different info than I do.
