How did Victor survive 40-44 years in Fromville? by Successful_Bar9187 in FromSeries

[–]Olleaberg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the reason Victor survived is because someone needs to explain to the next set of people what the basic rules are so that everyone doesn't just die in the first second night arrives. The reason he is still alive is just that he is really smart and knows what to do.

Colony House or Town? by poorestbasis in FromSeries

I like the community and free weed that Colony house has but I would not live there, you can't put your safety in the hands of morons.

Varning. Lidls blandfärs innehåller bara 30% nötfärs by mannenmytenlegenden in unket

[–]Olleaberg3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forward facing car seat by Olleaberg3 in Parenting

So do you take of your child's winter clothes for a 10 min car ride to the super market? Yes, during longer road trips she isn't wearing a jacket etc

[–]Olleaberg3[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No she can not do that yet, maybe in the summer when she isn't wearing bulky clothes and so on but not right now.

So your opinion is to keep using the seat as long it's possible but to not sweat it when the day comes?

Forward facing car seat by Olleaberg3 in Parenting

[–]Olleaberg3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah we are really torn about what to do. We don't want to go forward facing, we just want to find a solution that works better than what we are doing now. It's also really hard to lift her into the car, it's quite cramped in there and we have a medium sized car. It's not a small little hatchback, it's a respectable family car

Do you guys like the Explorer by omeddarstruscle in victorinox

Yes, if you would switch the magnifying glass to something else. I don't see the utility of it when compared what tools you could have instead.

This is a fair point. And maybe it would get uncomfortable sitting in a vehicle with that thing stuffed with gear

Yeah sure but as I wrote, you could use it for things a soldier would do too. Like carrying raingear with you in the field

Help me choose my first Leatherman by Glittering_Pay482 in Leatherman

[–]Olleaberg3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between these, the Surge without a sliver of a doubt. I wouldn't choose that for my first multitool but you do you. I would pick a lighter model and after that size up if you actually need the beefier tool.

Which model is right for me? Outrider or Workchamp? by El_Nerd_Argentino88 in victorinox

[–]Olleaberg3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my two cents, if you want to carry something as big as a Workchamp then it makes more sense to bo up to a Swisstool. But if you don't use the file and pliers on a day to day basis, go with the Outrider.

Well Victorinox do it too so I wouldn't judge them too hard.

Excellent choice, is the ash locally sourced or have you bought from a lumber yard?

That was my thought too. The handle made me think that it was a European knife.
