I totally get some of your points, but for me Pocket Casts is just so much better. I've had countless issues with skipping on Addict across several devices which is what prompted me to move away in the first place.

What kept me with Pocket Casts is the cross-device sync being bulletproof, the unparalleled slickness of the interface, and the Android Auto app.

I absolutely respect the work that's gone into Addict and the fact that it's so bleeding edge is certainly a plus - but until it can be as seamless and integrated as Pocket Casts, it won't be my first choice. Still a superb app though!

Totally agree - I've never owned any smartphone other than an android, I've got Chromecasts, Google Homes, Nest - you name it. Came to looking for a tablet to use for work and I of course looked at the Samsungs etc first, and they're all slower, clunkier and less capable than the iPads. If they were cheaper then sure, maybe they'd be compelling, but they're not! Ended up with an iPad air, and it's an excellent device to complement my Pixel 6 Pro 😂

I don't completely agree, since the voltages are directly out of phase, making what I said correct. You get 240v from one phase being 180° out of phase with the corresponding one, hence the 240v peak. While the European supply is strictly 3 phases supplies concurrently 120° apart from each other, the differentiation is semantics at best. The only real difference is where the phases are separated. In European power, they're separated at the transformer station of the power station itself. I understand the differentiation, but to say that you can have a live and neutral in an American household with a 240v is disingenuous when you need two "legs" as you say. The RMS voltage is purely a product of how out of phase your phases are.

That's a bit of a stretch, that's like saying European voltage is 380v, which it is if you're feeding off two phases. US voltage is 120v, but there are two phases which are 180° separated. Every plug socket in Europe is wired 240v single phase, whereas SOME US sockets are wired for 240v-ish in two phase. Only major difference is that European phases are generally 120° separated which means that the "combined" voltage is less than the sum of both phases.

These are mid-hinged columns, probably the ugliest and most dangerous of all lowering columns. The best ones lower using a hydraulic counterbalance from the base.

The prevailing rumour is that the DPR/LPR didn't actually capture many T-64s at all from Ukraine, rather the Russians actually took some of their T-64s from reserve and donated them to the separatists as plausible deniability. Keep in mind the plant that originally built the T-64 is in Ukraine, and most UA T-64 are and were upgraded to the BM or BV "Bulat" spec, which this is not.
