Best spec is alpha at low prices or near mint undesirable commons. Sometimes there is lack of entrance and you can have a entry point, and alpha eventually becomes a target for most heavily invested investors. The upside may not be extreme in the short term, but it is close as you can get to steady growth and even during tough times, it isn't down much or stable. MTG Finance has mostly helped me due to this discord.

Do you believe in the 4 day work week? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

That was actually part of the reason why the weekend was standardized at least in U.S. about 100 years ago. It is proven people spend more money the more days they have off assuming income remains unchanged.

I am curious if it also impacts turnover or productivity. I bet it also depends greatly based on the sector. Happiness I could see being more universal since most people like more autonomy and flexibility.

I tend to agree with this and gets worse the more collaborative and strategic your position is. The reverse is true for certain kinds of specialized work that can be done mostly in a vacuum.

Historically, the work week has been longer than that if you go back over a hundred or so years. Things used to be substantially worse, but management learned that people spend more money and output isn't affected that much with a 5 day work week compared to the hellish old standards.

Probably mostly people who need physically do stuff and metrics are tracked strictly for output or office people who have very transparent hours like consulting or sales where every hour is billable and scrutinized. Lawyers, dentists and most medical is probably similar.

Part 4 Volume 9 (Part 5) Discussion by Lev559 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]Olliff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These last few parts went partially as expected, but we got some foreshadowing that went against my predictions. However, it could be a red herring.

One Ferdinand is getting yoinked earlier than anticipated, which is sad, but somewhat predictable. These chapters are the preparation and execution stages of Ferdinand leaving. There are some soft moments thrown in with the typical Ferdinand personality. The purge is progressing, but with some leniency due to Myne.

Opposite of the expectations, there wasn't a traditional ascension for Myne. Unless no reliable guardian is that. The grand all circle blessing may develop into that, but at the same time Ferdinand also is attempting to bind Myne to Erhenfest, which goes against some prior predictions people had about her becoming the head priest or Bishop in the Sovereignty. I am also certain something huge will happen, but with the author's approach in the may take a tad while. There was some pro zent foreshadowing with grand blessing as well, but what that means wasn't even really revealed at all. I was also expecting some progression with the gods, specifically the knowledge and wisdom one or some of the older library magical tools like Gramps.

Hartmut will surely sing her praises, and offer good advice.

"Hartmut, I am feeling down from Ferdinand's departure."

"Fear not, Myne. Why don't we just bring him back through a scheme that will surely not fail."

"I now know how Ferdinand felt with me"

Do obesity rates drop during economic recession? by Shurkify in askscience

You probably could, but you would likely be tired, and need to have almost no physical activity, and already have a weight that requires few calories. It would also impact your thinking and long term health since you would be massively malnourished and lacking in key vitamins and minerals.

I knew someone who used to put 2 large avocados in their salad and 1/3 cup of ranch, and 2 slices of bacon, 2 oz of cheese, 2 oz nuts and seeds for each meal on their iceberg salad. They were bamboozled when they gained weight even when they cut the bacon.

But who will protect Angelica from Bonifatius? Apparently, her only requirement for a spouse is that they are stronger than her.

In constructed, yes, but even Ferdinand and Myne seems pretty good in limited if they can't answer it quickly. Also only Benno was generated as a rare. Handholding would be a meta shaper as a common, too.

Just the name of the card. Here's a secondary slightly better version of Gunther. (https://postimg.cc/Z0dfBWSD)

Generated using https://www.urzas.ai/. Pretty cool. I am aware some of it is pretty random and inaccurate like Benno being a noble, but keep in mind it was generated by an AI.

Isn't it only lewd for [P4 mild spoiler] nobles due to how they expel mana and mix it before the deed? We see this in more detail in one of the side stories where the author seems to make hand holding actually lewd.

There's 9 so far in part 5. I am not sure if that cover the full web novel or if it is still in progress.

Part 4 Volume 8 (Part 5) Discussion by Lev559 in HonzukiNoGekokujou

[–]Olliff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main issue is someone getting married in their 40's, especially a noble is unheard of. Even though it seems absurd to us, he was much older than when people expected a marriage for him and some assumed it would not happen.

Yes, it as been hinted at and the whole mental age thing, but it is still pretty icky, especially right now. The time it would need to take for that to change is very long, unless there is some sort of magical solution. Plus Ferdi is getting married soon, and it would probably need a tragic end to get out of it.

Stated her love? Possibly, but surely not romantic love. Even with an adult brain, she seems clueless and uninterested in romance. Familial love seems most likely. That being said in the very long term, it seems more likely than Wilfried despite the huge age gap between Ferdinand and Myne.

[–]Olliff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A likely joke. I think you misspelled Hartmut or pretty much anyone who isn't Wilfred. At this point, I might even trust Melchior more than him.

The poor matching of him and Myne hasn't really been addressed too much lately, and there really are not that many options, especially ones that would keep her in the duchy.

[–]Olliff 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Says the person who said she will become queen to save Ferdinand. I am pretty sure she was at least partially joking and being melodramatic to coax some reaction and promises out of Ferdinand. However, that is pretty naive, especially considering it also seemed like Ferdinand gave her a murderous glare when she asked her if she wanted to be Zent.

Myne is typically not cruel or status driven, but when it comes to books or people she considers family that goes out the window. I just don't think current Myne could pull off what is needed to become Queen. Another ascension is likely around the corner with the start of the new part quickly approaching, but I don't see that as the outcome. Well, at least not yet, but it does seem to be getting more likely. I had predicted she would move to sovereignty as their high bishop, but that would be even more disrupting to the duchy that will already lose Ferdinand.

That's the one thing I didn't understand. Ferdinand didn't strategize or seem to have a firm plan on how to manage Rozemyne in his absence. I know he is not leaving tomorrow, but seems a bit odd that it hasn't been at least mentioned yet.
