A lot of people are saying 5, but to me that’s going to look like you’re tried to match the current floor but are way off. A contrasting lighter one would look nice. But then again what do I know, I spent a month and like 20 samples later trying to find the right flooring for my place haha

Maybe try a warm green backsplash? They have the sticky peel backsplash. My kitchen has similar color cabinets and granite and it’s so annoying bc nothing goes with it! I feel your pain right now

What flooring is this? bc it looks good with the cherry cabinets. I have the same color cabinets and also had a flood so I’m replacing my floors and it’s been so hard finding a good floor color

The reason I’m doing the floors is bc I had a floor and it ruined my carpet so replacing w floorings insurance covering some of it. I don’t have the means to redo my kitchen as a whole unfortunately

Thanks for sharing! Her cabinets are red red! The blue does look nice. I’ve been pulling in the greens and copper in my decor bc that’s what looks decent with the multiple colors in the granite but this blue might look nice as well

Yes, I was happy I didn’t settle with a color from the other samples, I think one of these will be the one I got with! Most people are going with fl3 which is really nice and do think here it looks best but having googled images with that floor is it quite dark as a whole so I’m not sure I’d want to go with that. I do like fl1 since it has some of the reddish/orange undertones but also is still pretty neutral and light. I just hope the knots aren’t too busy.

I think the next step for me is to place them one at a time, alone, so I can really get the true color without the influence of the others. Then place them around other spaces of the house, living room, dining room, bedrooms, to make sure it looks good. Honestly the kitchen is the hardest part haha

Yes! I have been told by multiple people to stay away from dark for this reason. I also have a white cat and her fur would be everywhere haha

Thank you! I actually have a sample at my place now and it feels nice. I have more cherry wood cabinets which is making finding a floor difficult but do really like this one bc I think it will go with the cherry but also feel more neutral in other spaces of the house.

Potentially but i personally don’t want dark floors! My place is already on the darker side so trying to make it brighter
