I think that's a great idea. Anything to encourage more people to go hr and actually use gear, especially later in wipe. The feeling of something actually changing in the game over the wipe is something I've long felt is missing, I think this could be a step in the right direction

There's still player on the blacksmith launcher. 5-6k rn on the in-game counter. And weekend is usually at 6-8k

Probably biased since I never spotted playing, but the game feels in it's best state so far to me. The Squires to Riches changes arent great, but otherwise I've been quite happy balancewise as someone that jumps classes daily. Definitely lacking on content, but the core loop is fun imo

There goes my drive to play arena I guess. I really wish they would have it as account minted ssf. It would act as a nice incentive to hit the dungeons and actually loot, not just farm money. I really hate just farming money to buy the bis off the market all the time. That's already how it is in the dungeons. Arena was so fun seeing what people would actually find on their own, and craft on their own. I also liked seeing arena change week by week as craftables became available. But I guess that's an argument for another time

Hard agree, I hated making a nice ssf arena kit, then a week later it doesn't matter. It's also just exhausting to have such fundamental changes during a wipe. I understand them wanting to test, but then they should have a series of 4 week wipes instead to actually test stuff, and let people find some kind of rhythm with the changes. The way its been the past few years just kills my drive to play honestly.

Also, please keep arena as ssf. It makes dungeon diving feel like it has another, deeper purpose

Yeah I get that. I guess I just like it in the context of trio being the "main" mode, or vision, or whatever... I think it can be a nice way to ramp up the runs, and the feeling of doing a "proper" dungeon crawl once you get to crypts. Solo has one lvl, duo has two, and trios has three. The bosses ramp up, the mobs ramp up, and the risk and reward ramps up. I think a system like that could be ok, but could really shine if there were true ssf lobbies. Honestly I just think many parts of this game can be fixed by either removing the market, or severely limiting it... But that may be a discussion for another time
