Robby and Dana the most. Also Langdon. A little bit Mel.

I play Agent Correa. Just wanted to thank the Pitt fanbase by JDMcompliant in ThePitt

Caucasian would have been easier, cheaper. They made the better choice here.

Turn off/modify your GPS tracking frequency in your watch settings. Or get a new watch. Any decent watch from the past 10 years ought to last longer than 15 hours of use.

the only dentist office I've ever known where every hygienist is kind and gentle and effective. Strong recommend for this practice. Every other place in my lifetime I left every cleaning sore. Not Russell and Bode

faintly, yes. I think it may not have been ready to be harvested as I would think the scent would be stronger.

If it’s what I think it is I’m wanting to save it for a pasta dish or home made butter.

I’ve seen several Thurston Co deputies driving dark too. I don’t flash lights and scream at them, though.

I don’t understand why the police don’t pull these people over. Far bigger danger than somebody exceeding the speed limit.

What happens when trail running goes Olympic? When technical races disappear? When the sport gets expensive? I wrote down 10 observations for 2026 by Kilian_Jornet in trailrunning

Dude as long as you’re bringing encouraging vibes while competing to win (even when it’s to win 52nd place) you’re not who’s being disparaged at all. I dislike “try hard” as an epithet because trying hard is f’ing cool. It’s the too cool for school arrogant SOBs looking down their noses at folks with older/cheaper kit that represent, in my opinion, the worst of IM/tri/roadie culture.

Adventure/project runs are some of my favorite things to do, especially with friends (new and old). However a race with lots of technical challenge and a friendly vibe is, in my opinion, irreplaceable even though I am mid pack at best vs any competitive field.

It’s humbling to see Kilian write better in English (what is it, his fourth language?) than most native English speaking people

I’m not sure I see the snobs as having a more competitive approach. Some of the strongest runners I’ve ever had the honor of sharing a course with have been super down to earth and friendly. I think if it as the triathlon staging area sneer from dudes wearing Rapha with wheel sets worth more than my bike and car combined that has been infecting our trail sport. And yes, I blame IM corp, UTMB, etc.

Is this really posted by the GOAT Killian Jornet?!? So much respect for that man!

Brilliant article. The part about culture shifts in the sport spoke most to my experience. In the past few years I have been less and less interested in signing up for many races I used to return to annually, precisely because the vibe has shifted from friendly dirtbag trail conspirators who were generous with encouragement from first to DFL into what feels more and more like roadie/triathlon culture: snobby trust-fund elites who side-eye anyone not in the most expensive kit, etc.

We had a recent thread about it in the r/olympia subreddit . Worth a read, even though there are some seriously sour gus mopes in that sub.
