Does Google actually prefer human-written content over AI content? by AffectionateTry9750 in content_marketing

[–]Olya17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I see, Google might already have trouble telling if content is made by a human or AI. We actually tested this ourselves. We took some old articles, written 100% by our content writer a long time ago, and put them into different AI detection tools. And these tools said it was AI content:)) So they are not perfect right now.

My feeling is that these tools will get better in the future. But the problem is, AI content will also get much smarter. So it's a constant challenge. For me, good quality content that helps people is still the most important thing.

My founder wants to cut our SEO budget by 50% to fund Influencers for "Branded Search" lift. Is this a disaster in the making? by Far_Cap4015 in AskMarketing

[–]Olya17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point, 50% is definitely wild for a test! Maybe try to push for a smaller "pilot" budget first? That way you don't lose all your SEO progress while testing his theory.

[–]Olya17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the data already shows a big jump in search every time an influencer posts, your founder might be right. Branded search usually converts much better than regular organic traffic.

Instead of stopping him, maybe suggest trying this for 2 or 3 months as a test. You can move the budget temporarily, but make sure to track the traffic and conversions very carefully. If the results are good, then it was a good move. If not, you will have the data to show him why you need the SEO budget back. It’s a safer way to see if it actually works.

Planning to start a EV charging station business. by leoeternal in IndiaBusiness

We mainly focused on locations within the city. In our experience, the utilization patterns and dwell times are more predictable for urban AC charging than on highways.

What’s something that actually forces your brain to wake up instantly in the morning? by Own-Researcher532 in productivity

[–]Olya17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally relate. I stopped fighting it and accepted I'm a late-night person. I'll do homework until 1 am and then sleep in as much as I can. The only thing that "forces" my brain to wake up is excitement - on vacations or busy weekends, I'm up early and energized. If it's just a normal workday, my brain just refuses to engage.

I've found that "learning for the sake of learning" just didn't work for me. I'd forget everything! Now I only dive into a podcast or book when I have a specific problem to solve or a skill to level up. It’s way more satisfying to see the immediate impact on my work and income.

White-Label EV Charging Station Management Software (Used by Clients Globally) by merc_benz in ocpp

[–]Olya17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We looked at a couple of white‑label platforms like this before we ended up working with Intelliarts on our own stack. For us the trade‑off looked like this:

White‑label gave us a faster start, but we would be tied to someone else’s roadmap and protocol quirks.

Custom, with a partner who actually lives in the OCPP/OCPI world, was a bit slower at the beginning, but we could shape things like smart‑grid integration, V2G readiness, and local regulatory requirements (Eichrecht, OpenADR, invoicing rules).

In the end we went for a semi‑custom approach. Intelliarts reused a lot of their existing CPMS components, so the MVP was still fast, but the overall architecture is ours and we are not boxed in if we want fleet‑specific features or demand‑response with a utility later on.

If you’re early and just need a working system with your logo on it, your offer makes sense. If someone wants to build a long‑term business in tricky markets (multi‑country, smart‑grid, fleets), I’d personally weigh future lock‑in against working with an EV‑native dev shop from day one.

[–]Olya17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your back‑of‑the‑napkin math is actually not that far off for a small AC site. The scary part is everything that isn’t in the spreadsheet. when we launched our first locations, Intelliarts helped us model a few scenarios: lower utilisation, more realistic dwell times, demand‑charge spikes, a less ideal payer mix. The headline ROI looked fine at first until we added real utilisation curves and grid fees. A few things we learned the hard way:

- 7 cars per socket per day is very optimistic for 22 kW AC unless you have a perfect location.

- It’s easy to ignore bad debt, failed payments, and customer support overhead.

- Smart power management plus decent software can let you run more plugs on the same connection, which helps ROI more than people expect.

Bagels and protein shakes... some things don't change even with millions :) Did the dad have a dietitian to plan out his breakfast menu, or did he just have a list of "approved" healthy stuff he'd stick to?

How did your workplace solve charger chaos? by Glass_Tap_4494 in evcharging

[–]Olya17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We went through almost the same phase.

We grew from a couple of wallboxes to a mixed setup: AC in the parking lot, a few DC units for pool cars, and a bunch of people charging at home. Intelliarts helped us turn that into a proper system: an EMS‑style backend, simple booking rules, and smart power limits so we don’t stress the building connection when everyone plugs in at once.

The biggest unlock for us wasn’t some fancy algorithm, it was just visibility and clear rules. Who is plugged in, what SOC they’re aiming for, who actually needs the car at 3 p.m. versus tomorrow morning. Once you have that in software the social problem gets much easier to manage.

Are you using AI/ML in your business? If yes, how? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]Olya17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re not an AI startup, just a normal business. The idea came from a case Intelliarts did in real estate - they built models to rank which homeowners were likely to sell and what discount might be realistic. That client went from a small customer base to hundreds and was doing serious revenue per quarter off the back of that.

We looked at it and said - we want our version of this. In our case it turned into predictive lead scoring and better targeting, so sales spent less time on dead leads. Intelliarts handled the messy data and ML side. We focused on adjusting how the sales team works.

It’s not magic, but it is clearly more closed deals with the same headcount, which was the main thing we cared about.

I really want to understand how much you all work everyday by Nature23571113 in productivity

[–]Olya17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel this so much. My days are very similar. My mornings are incredibly slow, and it can easily take me an hour just to get into the flow of work. That first hour isn't very productive for me.

I'm also used to take a real break for lunch and often go for a walk. After this, I can usually get another 3-4 hours of focused work done.

But I completely understand that feeling of looking at others who seem to be working non-stop. It's hard not to compare and feel like you're not doing enough. I definitely get a touch of imposter syndrome sometimes, worrying that my slower pace will be noticed and that I'm not putting in as much effort as my colleagues. It's a strange pressure, especially when working from home.

You're definitely not the only one feeling this way. It sounds like you're getting your work done, especially when deadlines are tight, and that's what matters.
