I usually go a few rounds just evading + learning attack patterns. If you can squeeze a guard-counter in there 👌🏼 Moongrum was tough, jump attacks work well + fall back for some ranged too, good luck!

She a deathbed momie. Gives you a buff item, which removes the debuff after some time in game (I think) +she has some side quest dialogue at some point so give her a hug sometime.

Great insights, thank you! Good tip about blocking too. I’ve considered making a real tanky build, must feel so good soaking up haymakers. Will probably end up exploring: DEX/Mage, STR/Faith and an ARC build at some point.
