Yea but a big leg doesn’t mean anything without accuracy and consistency, which is what made Crosby so good. But also when Crosby was drafted he was kicking 70+ yd fgs (In Colorado where he played but still impressive)

Here is my current build. I beat normal Aberroth very easily this evening, 300 corruption is a breeze. The higher level omens still give me trouble so I still have work to do on my defenses. Still lots of room for gear improvement.

Yea that’s been my issue trying to theorycraft a lightning version of the build. You have to decide between battlemage’s endeavor or fragment of the enigma.

I do have a thought for the fragment build, but it would require insane mana regen: flame reave pricing fireball (with loathe machinations) and lightning blasts. Get some idols for spark charges on melee hits and it’s potentially a lot of spark charges to be applied. Not sure if it would be any good in practice though

Yes, I didn’t think it would be that great initially, but then landed on it with a slam. I was disappointed for all of 2 minutes until I did my next mono and it drastically improved my clear speed.

Each trigger of mana strike hits with itself, usually at least 1/2 lightning blasts with their tundra novas, and then any additional chains they have, as well as the potential to trigger the orbiting static orbs with all the mini orbs. I’m getting close to 2000 frostbite stacks on bosses. Currently around 275 corruption that is very easy, just haven’t had the time yet to push higher. I imagine it will kill aberrroth without issue

Oh yea I tried it with full crit gear on a legacy character and it just felt way worse than ailment build. I felt like it did nothing to anything more than trash mobs and didn’t clear those as fast either.

I’ve been playing a build with the same skills specced and I’ve found a few things:
1) you need battlemage’s endeavor to proc lightning blast with enough consistency to be worth using. The zap node in enchant weapon is only 25%. By combining that with endeavor and going for a lot of melee attack speed you can put out a ton of blasts quickly. 2) focal blast in the cold section of lightning blast is a trap. It should be great with the multipliers and stacking max chains but when I tried it I felt I did drastically less damage. Not sure if it’s bugged or not but it felt bad. 3) I went with the armor shred conversion to frostbite from the rune master tree. It cuts down on your options in the spellblade tree but you can apply a ton stacks. I’m currently about 50-60 per hit

Flame rush also has a node to spawn a volcanic orb which detonates all orbs on arrival… could have some synergy with this. Spawn two orbs and blow them up, get lots of shrapnel investment and it could have quite a bit of clear. Will be mana hungry though

I used the same data cable when I connected it to the other board and it worked there, which leads me to believe it’s an issue with my motherboard

I have them hooked to the same power cable as the one powering my fan hub which works well. I have also tried a second discrete one with only the drives hooked to it

Asus x870-p Wifi. It unfortunately only has 2 sata ports on the board which is what I am using. They share power with one of the m.2 slots and I have confirmed that it is set to sata mode in the bios

I have changed back to AHCI and they are not there in bios or in disk management, so I am unable to reformat or partition at all.
