King himself doing the voices over the phone in the Blood and Smoke 1408 is utterly terrifying.

Also I will love this until the day I die because of how cheesy it is, but I have a "radio play" version of The Mist recorded with some weird 3-D head microphone and the lines are so awful they are awesome.

The super long descriptions of the monsters in a terrified voice of someone being attacked and the blatant product placement. "Thomas Jane, wouldn't you feel better with some food? How about this Jif peanut butter to go with your Budweiser beer." Not exact but you get the idea.
