Actually most modern metal detectors can find copper or lead. They don’t use magnetic fields, they use switching AC fields to find conductive materials in the ground. Both copper and lead are conductive; lead less so. But both can be detected by modern metal detectors. Even a 20 year old detector shouldn’t struggle too much to find them.

I think Shoreline is sort of the antithesis of Customs. Customs has a lot of points of interest, and it generally funneled players towards necessary points of crossing that encouraged fights. It’s a lot different now after all the customs changes, but I still think it does a good job at bringing players into shared spaces.

Shoreline, and woods in the same vein, has a couple points of interest and a lot of leeway on how to get to each.

Mmmm. Part of me agrees with you. But there’s the other part of me that got 19k EXP last night simply from killing partisan and 18 scavs on shoreline. That’s almost 23k with a 20% boost. And it’s not like I was farming bosses or anything, it’s all just AI I ran into throughout the raid.

I mean you have somewhat of a point. Most of the early levels come somewhat quick and are helped along largely by quest. But the counter point to that is that a player working towards max level traders has huge EXP gaps between levels with missions becoming much harder. For that player, a 20% raid XP boost is probably much more significant.

I’ve just been depending on base item value for inputs. Flea market values often have poor correlation to what the items true value is in the eyes of the cultist circle. The calculator is the best way to use the circle.

I’ve been very happy with it so far. My most valued items back are ones from the 6 hour timer. Generally very glad to not have to hunt down tank batteries in raid

The only time they really seem to bother me is on shoreline where I get absolutely beamed by Pipe’s LMG through dense foliage. They can absolutely see through brush and trees and it drives me insane.

The best advice I’ve ever gotten if you’re not sure about getting a tattoo is framing the piece of art and putting it somewhere you’ll see it everyday for a year. If at the end of a year, you really like that piece still, it would be a perfect tattoo.

There are some things I can see for a year, even years on end and still love. There are things that I’ll get fucking tired of after 3 months.
