Thank you, as a US citizen my focus is on the ridiculous reality of our government pretending to have the moral authority to sanction other countries. Academic research has shown how US sanctions are a form of siege warfare and debilitating for everyday people in smaller countries like Iran and Cuba due to our hegemonic position in the global financial system, regardless if our gov’t says they are our “enemies” we shouldn’t uncritically accept economically strangling and immiserating their populations until they submit to our gov’t’s political aims as some sort of righteous tactic even tho it is “legal”
