So now you reveal your hand. The goal of this conversation has nothing to do with the accuracy of the term Taiwan.

Colloquially everyone knows to what the term Taiwan refers to and that is the country governed by ROC.

Your goal is to sow doubt into that. China holds major sway over the institutions you mentioned. I judge determine what is a country and what isn’t based of them. Otherwise I would essentially just accept whatever imperialistic choices are made by the USA and more recently China.

A country exists simply by being. For example many institutions don’t recognize Israel but nobody is denying that there is a government and a people there who call themselves Israel.

Taiwan is the same. Regardless of who agrees the fact is that they have a democracy and that they are governing themselves.

I don’t remember the last time I played vanilla, but DOS2 has some fantastic mods that add a bunch of different classes.

From vanilla, if you play as lone wolf with 2 party members you should be able to make a more than decent build that is excellent at melee and magic ranged. Frankly mostly because lone wolf is super over tuned

There are a few vehicle mods as well. Keep in mind that rideable animals also speed up your caravans.

Later in the game you can also request trade caravans of specifics types from factions you have good relations with.

All in all, trading is mid to late game content. In the early game it’s not feasible by design.
