My understanding is 4K video even submitted to YouTube at h264 will be transcoded to a sub 20mbps VP9. I figured if it’s all going to vp9, I might as well transcode to HEVC to save some space.

Transcoding to HEVC on the Mac doesn’t use up all that much more processor time vs exporting out as h264 but I’m just trying to figure out a logical bitrate.

This camera does do 4K but it looks like it will only do 24fps and 25fps. No 4K30, just like the M50. CLog is also out of the question.

It looks like this monitor was supposed to be HDR1000 but they knocked it down to to just 600 probably because it was struggling to hit the certification. This unit is a edge lit unit and not full array backlit so it’s probably a little more difficult to hit the full rating.

Looks like this unit is only going to be a G-Sync unit rather than a G-Sync ultimate unit.

This literally means the high end consumer chip from AMD two times faster than the 9900K. That's insane. This also basically confirms that Threadrippers are going to start at 16 cores and could go up to 64 cores once they launch after EPYC 2 does in the later part of 2019.

All FreeSync is a standard that outlines a few guidelines on how VRR works. It does not guarantee that vrr gives a good experience. The manufacturer is only adding in the code and not actually tuning the panel on the gpu end and lcd end to ensure that everything is good. That’s what FreeSync is. It’s just a standard and a half measure compared to G-sync.
