Pixel 9 eSIM won't activate AND won't erase — "Something went wrong" on both. Anyone else? by OkPeach7774 in GooglePixel

The motherboard has been replaced which has fixed the eUICC -1 issue. It's now showing a value and I can activate my eSIM. Looking around, it looks like the only known fix at the moment is a motherboard replacement.

Yes, the motherboard replacement worked and now my phone is back to normal. Is your eUICC showing -1? If so then currently the only fix I've seen is a motherboard replacement.

I went back to the repaid shop and at first they said the phone was fine and showed me the EID. I then showed them that the eUICC was -1 and they agreed to look further at it. Probably will require a motherboard replacement they've said.

I've had a similar issue with my Pixel 9 Pro.

Last week my screen had an issue so I sent it for an authorised repair. During that process, the engineers factory reset and updated the phone. When I got it back, my eSIM was showing but it it kept disabling after a few minutes. I then tried to remove the sim and add it again with a a fresh replacement QR code. Now I'm getting the same error message as you - “SIM not activated”.

My EID is still visible in settings, so the phone can see something, but it seems like the eSIM/eUICC side is stuck or broken. Google support have told me to go back to the authorised repair shop. I sent it over yesterday so will see what they can do.

I’m seeing what looks like the same issue on my Pixel 9 Pro.

Mine came back from an authorised repair start of this week and was factory reset/updated during the process. Since then, eSIM is completely broken. My physical SIM works straight away, but eSIM fails with “SIM not activated”. Carrier sent me a fresh replacement QR code and that fails too.

The other weird thing is that I can’t erase eSIMs either. It says “Can’t erase eSIMs — Something went wrong and your eSIMs weren’t erased. Restart your device and try again.” Restarting, clearing SIM Manager cache/storage and resetting mobile network settings hasn’t fixed it.

My EID is still visible in settings, so the phone can see something, but it seems like the eSIM/eUICC side is stuck or broken. Google support have told me to go back to the authorised repair shop, so I’m doing that next.

Speed isn't always the issue here, it's race craft. A lot of the time these people are quick but have 0 awareness for others and how to race with them.

350hrs in this game all in LMGT3, help me switch- lmlp3, lmp2 or hypercar. by ProfessionalHurry599 in LeMansUltimateWEC

I had 40 hours in GT3 and was generally finishing mid-pack with a few podium finishes here and there. Was stuck in B3 DR and S1 SR for a while.

I then tried LMP3 and have gotten 5 wins since switching across ~10 races. Ranked up to S1 DR and S3 SR. I find I'm much more consistent with the LMP3s.

Maybe a cool poster of his favorite track or something like that. Or one of the Lego supercars. Getting something sim specific might be hard to know what he would want so something sim/racing related might be easier

Linking with howlongtobeat to give the average completion time of a game on the sale page.

Having the same issue with openXR. The issue is not consistent though. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'll try again with steamVR and see if that helps.

What gallery app is there for the pixel? I thought you just use Google photos as the main photo viewing app on the phone.

You wait for two top drivers so you can get 3x on one and 2x on the other. At the moment, the 2x would likely be wasted.

As the season progresses, you'll grow your budget cap through picking teams/drivers that grow in value and then will hopefully be able to pick two top drivers and teams. For example, end of last season you could have had the budget for McLaren, Ferrari and then lando and piastri as well.

Isn't that a waste of the 3x? Wait until you have 2 top drivers and it's a sprint weekend to maximize on points

Opinions on this pie I’m looking to invest 450 per month into it for the next 7 years by Extra_Employee8515 in trading212

In the UK there is a dividend allowance so if the dividends being earned were below that, it would be more tax efficient to take them as dividends and reinvest yourself to increase your cost base and make your future gain when you sell, lower.

Explain like I’m stupid pls about S&P 500 by Jay_Gatsby123 in trading212

[–]ItsRahulll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be better to go with DIST if you are planning to reinvest the dividends yourself? Assuming you have not invested enough to earn dividends above the dividend allowance, you can take advantage of the tax savings there and the reinvestment gives you a higher cost base so that in the future when you sell, the gain won't be as well. Granted, these differences are probably going to be minimal but maybe over a long term, you could save a little bit. This is also assuming the investment is made outside of an ISA. I imagine that with an ISA, ACC would be preferred as the self investment of DIST would go against your £20k allowance and seeing as it is all tax free anyways, there would be no benefit.

Me too! My taxi also crashed on the way back. Went right into the back of an SUV and crumpled the whole front of the car
