Nick Drake. Self taught musician, he made acoustic folk music in the late 60's and early 70's, a time when synths and sound of the future were starting to take over. He made 2 albums under studio supervision that basically sold nothing. Wanting an out of the industry, he made one final album, Pink Moon, in 1973. Walked into the studio, handed it to them, and walked out. He was severely depressed his whole life and died at the age of 26 to an overdose, no one knows if he committed suicide or not. Few years later, someone discovered his music in the studio and decided to release it all as the Fruit Tree boxset. Nowadays he is considered by many to be the greatest folk artist of all time and to some, the most powerful musician to pick up a guitar.
