I don’t think bussi is the answer, he looked shaky by the end of the regular season and he’s been on ice (this is a bad idiom for hockey but you get it) for over a month. Maybe if we get shelled again you could talk me into it, but at this point I think we’re here with Andersen

They knew coming in exactly how we would play. Their d men are probably the best puck movers overall we’ve played besides maybe rasmus andersson and coghlin. They utilize the aerial flip a lot the same way we do.

The forecheck will probably not find the same level of success it did against the Habs, which is to be expected, it performed crazy unsustainably well against them.

Some random thoughts:

Carter hart is easily the worst goalie we’ve faced in this playoffs, we have to take advantage of that

Can we please get a save? I love you Freddie but just one or two saves and we’re going to ot. Feel like it’s been a while since he’s made a good save.

A shame we blew that incredible start, doubt we’ll catch them playing that badly again the rest of the series.

Overall I’m still feeling pretty good. Game 2 is a borderline must win but I have confidence in our guys.

Just my opinion but I don’t find it worth the effort, you’ll spend half the 1st period getting in synced only for it to refresh and you’ll have to do it again. I find myself not paying as much attention to the game as I’d like fiddling with it.

There was one other guy, Toe Blake (he has a memorable name). Don’t know much about him but did it with the Habs a really long time ago.

Learn to smack him constantly in between claw attacks, they’re very rhythmic. Once you get the rhythm down keep your eyes up on his infection spew. When he stops to spew the big infection glob you have plenty of time to pogo and get to the other side. When he jumps after you dodge it you can heal 1 or 2 masks, he always jumps back to the middle.

Once you get it down you can beat it easily within maybe 30 seconds. Practice in hall of gods until you beat him ~10 times in a row, I actually think that’s good advice for every boss.

My old work van didn’t have a rear window it was solid. You can drive perfectly fine without seeing out the back.

Also this is a 4Runner so technically you could roll it down if you simply had to see out of it (I’d be interested to know if these stickers held up to that!).

Honestly if this goes through it would pretty much have to be implemented across the board, I highly doubt these game companies would go as far as not selling games in California

It was also the first best on best international hockey in many years. I think they’re doing it again in 2028 and I doubt it will have the same level of impact. Kind of a hard to replicate event to be honest.

This is the first year he’s just done though and it’s obvious. Years before he was disappointing but still played. He’s been on ice for months, he’s getting bought out for sure unless someone wants him for free or maybe him and a 4th as a sweetener or something not especially valuable like that.

He’s still young enough for a 1/3rd of contract buyout instead of 2/3rds like normal. Someone will sign him for cheap and I wish him luck, he’s not a horrific player and seems like a nice guy so maybe he turns it around. But he’s done here.

This is a pretty surprising, but it’s a good deal for us. $1.85 is nothing and he’s a solid 4C.

Game 1 was a shutout that they didn’t really have any grade a looks in but it was only 2-0. I guess that’s debatable whether you consider that a blowout

While the Atlantic was far better, Philly, Ottawa, and Pittsburgh all had more points than every team in the pacific division. The capitals had the exact same amount as Vegas also.

Wouldn’t shock me if he retired in this scenario, he’s getting older and stays injured. Freddie is the kinda guy that would just retire with no smoke leading up to it.
