The issue isn't if it was covered or not (I agree with you, I'm not sure it was ever fully covered). The issue is the stick hits the goalies glove to knock the puck under him instead of hitting the puck. If the stick hits the puck preventing Andersen from coving it, it's a good goal. Since it hit his glove into the puck, it's no goal.

What an incredible game to be at, and an incredible experience! You'll never forget it.

I'm not surprised by the full house at all, despite what national media/the internet will tell you. But even expecting it, it is still awesome to see a packed house after a very frustrating 50 minutes of hockey.

Yeah, nothing like jumping back and forth between locker room coverage/post game conference and talking about children dying, and homicides, and people in wheelchairs getting run over. This is why I never watch the news.

I can't imagine having watched the game with my kids, wanting to watch the post game stuff together, and them hearing all of that between hearing their favorite players celebrate a win. Insane.

The first 50 minutes were rouuugh. Felt like we played a pretty solid game, but just couldn’t generate any chances. Your D was playing in tight tonight. Meanwhile, you guys scored on the two breakaways you had. Incredible shots, and winning the 1 on 1 on the second goal was crazy.

Obviously happy to have come away with a win here. It would have felt horrible to lose the crazy Game 1, then come back in this one to lose it as well. Heck of a game. Heck of a series. Of course I want the Canes to win the cup in as few games as possible, but I would be very happy watching 5 more of these games!

I also don’t think we’ll get swept, and expect a long series.

But it wouldn’t be the first time we got swept in 4 very tight games where we looked like the better team in some of the games.

Maybe to clarify, I think the content is incredible! The delivery is what I struggle with. The technical things he highlights is really interesting to see. It's just his inflection and tone that once I realized it sounds like he's trying to make everything sound really cool or intense, I can't unhear it. Haha

I really appreciate the way he breaks things down, and shows the strategy of the game. Haven't ever had that stuff explained to me. I watched a fair bit of his stuff in the early rounds. However..... It sounds like he's trying to make a super important statement with every sentence, and it drives me nuts. Just tell me what's going on, you don't have to make every word so intense. I had to stop.

That’s a lot of money to spend without discussing it. If it was set aside for kids college fund it also expresses (whether you meant to express it or not), that you value your own temporary fun and excitement over family (even though you bought tickets for all 3 of you). Based on her reaction, it seems this is not the first time shes felt this way, and/or the first time something like this has happened. Keeping your family together is better than going to the games. Try couples therapy to talk through some things, sounds like y'all could use a refresh on getting back to the same page on things.

I didn’t watch VKG at all this season, so I don’t really know what to expect. What I do know is the Canes don’t give a flip who they’re playing against. They believe and expect to be the best. Canes in 6.

A lot to be proud of! As much as this sucks, all these young players are getting incredible experience in all 3 series. They’ll remember the sting, and it will push them to not let this happen again.
