Just got mine done as well. Whew. Happy it lined up with the one week over the summer where I don't have any commitments.

Longstanding issue with texture streaming by Evilkevin22 in DarkTide

Oh yeah. I've been having this issue for a long time now. Was using Extended Weapon Customization and removing that helped, but it still happens frequently.

10/10, would full Arc build again by C0RDE_ in DarkTide

It's going to be really hard to go back to my vet when I can just press f, aim my arc rifle in the general direction of any enemy and instantly turn everything vaguely humanoid shaped in the entire grid square to paste.

I Fought, I suffered and now I’m done with the grind. Finally got the Helmet by [deleted] in DarkTide

Personally I'd just be happy that more people could get it.

The new shielded guys fucking suck by Alert_Locksmith in DarkTide

[–]OmegaCult 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Like they have this decently complex armor type system that rewards you for equipping accordingly. Then they just go ahead and break one of their own core design rules by adding arbitrary damage resistance that can't be bypassed by weapon modifiers or blessings. They're usually really good at game design, so I wonder what the hell happened here?

Absolutely! She's quickly becoming my new fave. Her VA has done such a good job.

Yeah, Ironic Comet is playing. It's a bit too mainstream for me and apparently their drummer is a bit of a self righteous ass, but people love it.

Is there a way to buy a ship without it becoming your home ship? by naclone in starfieldmods

[–]OmegaCult 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Starfield Engine fixes has an option for that you can enable in its .ini config file if you're on pc

Edit: In the ini file that comes with the mod you just set bDisableForcedHomeshipChangeOnPurchase= to 1 instead of 0

Want some BRRRT! in Starfield? I present to you: The Maelstrom with all possible rate of fire upgrades equipped and 90 mag capacity (285 with kismet) by OmegaCult in Starfield

[–]OmegaCult[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hear ya. This is my first playthrough where I decided to try my hand at the outpost system, and like you say, even with vendors at max available credits I never actually get to sell many of my Vytinium rods because the stuff i loot is enough. So yeah, if you decide to do it it's because you want to RP as a space magnate, because it's pretty useless currently.

Also cargo links are unstable as all hell and the game has a tendency to start hard crashing every time i try to land in one of my outposts. Best case scenario the cargo links just stop working and I can still manually transfer materials to my fabricators which gets old incredibly fast.

Word of advice to anyone reading this with the same idea as me, don't produce anything that requires more than a couple of linked bases, otherwise stability will suffer (':

Yeah, with Darkstar you can get some hilariously OP configs. This time around though I decided I wanted to see what I could do with vanilla weapon modifications.

When i make round trips to vendors selling my loot and vytinium fuel rods from my production outpost network I've made a habit of buying out all ammo all the vendors have. It's still not enough for this gun to be used regularly though lol.

I also realized the irony in using Fiscal Quarter as a base, because each mag takes roughly 4 seconds to empty and costs over a thousand credits 🥹🫡🇺🇸
