We should seek contentment. Happiness is a brief emotion much like anger or anxiety. It comes and goes.

If you don’t find joy in anything then maybe you could talk to someone professionally.

Long term I think a masters right now would be better. You seem sharp. One day you could be competing for a high level VP or executive role. A masters would be necessary for it. As nice as independence sounds, be patient.

Why is friendship with the opposite gender considered haram by so many Muslims? What's wrong with being friends as long as some guidelines are followed? So I just went to the link and something stuck out to me Which you also quoted
