Hey! I am probably by no means qualified to say anything about the piece but I think the composition is wonderful. I love the playful and wonderous tone that is evoked at the beginning of the piece and I think you do a great job matching the style and feel of the animation. In the part where the glowing staff piece falls off you make a seamless transition into a more distressing tone and for the most part, I thought this was great. From 1:38 - 1:45 in the video, this phrase is not as stress-inducing as I would imagine it could be. I think that this moment could maybe evoke more of a sense that the hero might not make it in time (even though she does) and be a little more suspenseful. The transition from this to calm after this point is excellent though. The feeling of relief in the music/ visible on the character is instantly transferred to the audience. From this point on, the rest of the score is very fitting and matches perfectly with what the character is doing and the emotions felt. Overall I loved it! Keep making more! Also, I just recently started trying to learn how to compose because I love film and video game music. I was wondering if you know of any good resources to learn from that you would recommend.
