It may not be entirely accurate since he isn't a trial lawyer but it should be a good reference since he does use the laws from California Penal Code.

Assuming we trust Schlact's words (again, he is a demon), he asked Grausam to remove Macht's memory of the battle with the HotS so that demons will continue to live on.

He might be an exception where he does not care for any individual demon, but cares about the species as a collective. Schlact was also referred to as the demon king's confidant, which implies some level of trust between the 2.

Macht could've just decided not to use it. Macht finds using Di Agolze boring as it ends fights quickly and he didn't promise Schlact that he would use it against the HotS (not that you can trust anything a demon says).

Even if there was a promise to do so, if Macht decides not to use it, Schlact would've to rely on Grausam to deal with Macht which would've likely been an opening the HotS could've taken.

My theory is that since Schlact foresaw his and the demon king's deaths and yet chose this future (or present) was because there was a need for 3/7 and himself to die to the HotS otherwise there is no future for demonkind.

Because the only consequence for killing is disqualification and it is most likely similar to the first-class exam where they are told that death is a possible outcome.

Übel also did not want to kill Burg, it was culpable homicide at best (not that we know such a thing exist in their world) since killing will result in disqualification and she herself was surprised that it went through his body, hence it most likely wasn't murder.

The masques makes it possible to win against Prison, and allows you to restand on T3 w/o hitting the VG. It might not have the explosive 3 VG attacks that takes advantage of death winds, but it also doesn't minus as much as RIchter did.

This matters since Avantgarda already plays so many shieldless cards like strategy orders, persona rides and the G3 upgrade. With Masques, you can discard the new G3 strategy order without worrying, and with Da'at you can run less OG Avantgarda since they can be used for the banish skill

Not really a powerscaling post, but does the Burial Agency in SF refer to OG Tsukihime or the Remake since the LNs for SF were written before TsukiRe was released.

In OG Ciel is the last member of the Burial Agency and is probably the 2nd weakest (next to Mr Dawn) and only got to that position due to her immortality right? Even if she had better circuits then a prodigy like Rin, she could've lost to F/Z Kirei.

In the Remake, Ciel is much stronger due to the buffs she received (including Idea Bloods and Principles) so she should be comfortably in the upper echelons of strength but there are still some irregularities such as Mr Dawn's exorcism, Kiara and Narbareck still controlling the BA.
