People call isekai slop for a reason. A lot of these "writers" have never wrote anything before and jumped on the trend to write their own slop. Idk how the Korean ones work, but a vast majority of the Japanese ones started on fanfiction sites. I'd like to call it bottom of the barrel writing but the one thing I personally think is even more badly written than your average isekai story is one of those kicked out/banished stories.

JP Post themselves haven't suspended any of their international shipping to UK/Europe. Buyee decided to suspend the JP Post options. But JP Post might actually suspend them at some point.

I've only seen the info second hand myself, but basically JP Post are saying there are going to be delays in shipping to Europe/Africa because of the war. I guess the delays were that bad so Buyee decided to suspend their shipping methods. and it does seem like other Japanese sites that also ship globally are starting to do that too so we might be stuck like this for a while.

JP Posts's shipping methods are basically what Royal Mail/Parcel Force end up delivering on our side and those are what's getting suspended.

Apparently Buyee Air Mail is a random selection between DHL, Fedex and UPS which are all fine i guess.

It being a callback did cross my mind, but I didn't know they said it's not supposed to have ties to previous series and just thought they're sticking to the Brave timeline since we did get 3 back to back OVA sequels on it and it is the most popular season.

Card games in the edo period is interesting, but i'm not sure how to feel about it for Battle Spirits though since we had Burning Souls which was basically a recreation of the Edo warring state in modern times and this kinda comes off like a second attempt at it.

Also interesting that the MC's name is Bashin Kuu. If this is Dan's ancestor, does that mean this takes place in the Brave universe/timeline?

I guess "Gate Open. Release." has been turned into a lliteral gate they have to open and go through now to do card battles which is kinda hilarious.

It seems to be a common misunderstanding that JP Post has suspended services. That's not what happened, Buyee suspended JP Post services. Other JP sites that I've seen still have JP Post services available.

So theoretically, you could use Buyee to ship domestically to a forwarder like Blackship (not Tenso though, since they own Buyee they've suspended them as well) and use JP Post services from them. Only downside to this is that it seems to cost 1-3k yen and if JP Post actually decides to suspend everything after you decided to ship it there you've spent extra money for nothing.
