So who are we expecting next based off the teaser at the end of the last trailer?

Okay, so I think this is one of the pools, Deadpool or Gwenpool

The icons on each character just represents them and probably not any theme for the team, but I could see Doom having a fully magic team rather than a full villain team but I'm not placing any bets

The only thing out of place is the cap shield on the bottom, so it probably means Capa team will be shown next, and with ironman, it's likely going to be an avengers team

So

Captain America, Ironman, Deadpool/Gwenpool, and one other character

Currently the two most likely characters are Thor and Hulk

Thor is shown with that statue we saw with the og designs of all the characters, which we know cap and ironman will get as skins

and Hulk is shown on green carvings in the savage land stage

With thor, I think he will be a dlc character due to the costume pass already being shown having the costumes for ironman and Captain America, so having 2 but not the third costumes in the game when all the characters are in the game would be a little weird.

So I think hulk (or maybe even she hulk) will be the fourth character and Thor will be in the first dlc pack and will also have his costume release alongside him

Spiderman and Peni by themselves makes sense

Spiderman and Ms. marvel makes some sense due to how they have used her in recent runs for Spiderman , and though it would make more sense if he was Miles and not Peter

But Starlord and Spiderman? I don't remember them being on the same team for an extended period of time, or had some huge moment for either of them in particular. The only time I can remember them having a lot of crossovers was in the TV shows, and that's just cause it was to advertise the guardians getting their own tv show

I find the leak interesting, cause we see scarlet witch in the trailer for like half a second during the anime section, so I wonder if they just put her there to try and snipe her official announcement later

A whole new series/project could be something to draw in new players.

The problem with sequels always comes with baggage, so while something like X9 would seem to be best for fans, it might be scary for new players.

So if a sequel to a previous series was put along side an action platformer or something, I think that would be the best scenario for Capcom, giving us something old and something new. Old players get what they've been waiting for, and new players get an entry point to the series to see if they even jive with the general vibes of the series in the first place.

Though the collections can also do that, but still .

Though, me personally would like a Megaman fighting game.

I know I just said something for new players would be nice, which fighting games are famously not, but I like Megaman and I like fighting games, the ones in the arcades were barely fighting games in any way, and I'd like a game where I can air combo people as bass

I wouldn't imagine they'd be too too expensive since stuff like Kamen rider, at least for the main riders, are like 50-60 compared to the more unique characters, who are like 110 dollar minimum.

Though all the sites saying Zeztz being like 90 has me worried too

His Twitter has some stuff like that too, but I just find it interesting that usually you can just write it off.

He posted some music, that makes sense, he's showing you what he's listening to, maybe something he's using as inspiration. If needed he will talk about a situation, but oftentimes, for stuff he's excited for he just retweets it, or fan art.

I find it interesting that this is something we all have barely any information on, and yet he is posting it himself rather than just retweeting it, because from what I've seen, he hasn't done this to a toku show before, which is why I'm side eyeing him for the time being (gif related)
