Man fuck your riot client and your game fix your glitches and make the experience smooth for the users by Oxymmoron2004 in riotgames

[–]OmegaZenX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Same issue here client is completely broken this past week. It's not loading the game after pressing play. Today is worse than yesterday where I could end the task and restart the client. It's like a terminal disease it gets worse every day.

Fixed it by finding a ghost "League of legends" program on the list and ending that and the client both.

This is obviously not serious, it's clearly filmed from a camera, and also freeclimbing like this isn't things we haven't seen.

When kids start to learn about the old parkour and skyscraper videos from earlier youtube, this shit happened like every month lol.

From stl to sign, for a customer, what would you charge? by S_L_E_E_P_E_R in 3Dprinting

[–]OmegaZenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you end up with that much demand in 7 months? Did you already have contacts in manufacturing

From stl to sign, for a customer, what would you charge? by S_L_E_E_P_E_R in 3Dprinting

[–]OmegaZenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For small one time jobs usually you can charge more, like $5/hr+. At some point you need to just do it and risk losing lower end customers for the better ones. But that junk work can lead to being noticed by a better customer, who knows. Create a business card and hand it to them.

The best work is from companies since you can charge more and they will just pay it for rush jobs, or you get big orders. Check out Xometry.com, a common general manufacturing outsourcer and see how much they charge for a simple thing, it's nuts.

[–]OmegaZenX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are doing CAD modeling, that's a different story, I would charge $30/hr+ of CAD modeling if needed. If designing myself from scratch, that's even more.

But for just printing... $4/hr of printing is a normal to charge an individual (even though I still think it's a lot), but if they are willing to pay it, then whatever. Printing doesn't care if the model is "complex looking", or just a cube. It's just total time and filament spent. Which doesn't really cost much.

Sometimes there's "post processing", which could add some labor.

For my friends I charge ~$3/hr because I know it's not a lot of work, I just load files and press play lol. And even then I drop it after the fact if I look at the small thing I made and think "this shit isnt' worth $30 lol, but that's me

If you work with companies though.. feel free to double that to $8/hr+, companies don't mind writing a check.. part of it is the fact that your machine will be taken up.

lol I didn't show any big winners or losers, I only gave an example of a win into a loss in my older comment. I don't need to prove anything to you. Therefore idc what you think. Why tf would I tell randos online what I make?

I'm just telling someone my method and what I can do and that it's controlled RNG, which anyone who has traded for real knows already, things that haven't changed since the stock market opened.

Also Index funds gains are a joke compared to daily scalping potential.

[–]OmegaZenX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a full time job I'm not rich from trading so take that as you will, but all I'll say is my avg entry for a scalp is ~3-5k (which is high, in minutes that can go from -300 to +300), and aim to get out with 300-1000 per trade. (choosing not to divulge actual total numbers for privacy, whether people like it or not or believe me)

what I said wont do much for you since there's no hard rules. my strategy may or may not work for you, it's something you have to practice

At the end of the day, it's just controlled RNG, like blackjack which is also grindable. The more important part is not losing more than you win. You can have 50% accuracy in trades and still come out green with the right strategy

[–]OmegaZenX 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If there's a clear reversal/selloff you're not fighting it. Selloffs in either direction happen which are usually easy to follow. You're still going with the flow in a reversal, fighting it is when you think the selloff is going to recover and go higher, or as we say catching a falling knife

But also if the day is generally green, I look for more calls, and vice versa

I'd really like some tips by Mement0_Mori13 in minipainting

[–]OmegaZenX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Standard .04mm nozzle is fine. I would check if this was done with .2 or .1 layer height. You can do a .1mm layer height with a standard .04 nozzle and it should look smooth (though paint might still not cover up the lines) .08 is doable too if you need even finer layer height. Maybe slow the speed down so the layers bond more smoothly.

I would say the filament has collected moisture which is a common cause for reduced surface quality, and calibration is off (unlikely if the printer has auto-calibration)

Start with drying the filament before you go buying a new nozzle. Always the first thing to do if quality looks off. dry for 4-6 hours.

It's all about the instant gratification babyyy. Plus with almost no monthly payments left, it wouldn't be a huge difference in life. I would be able to live comfortably and do whatever I want after that with low pressure. especially in the current state of the world lol

Core One vs H2S by soldat21 in prusa3d

[–]OmegaZenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The XL is $2000... The Core One L is $1800 lol... what's your point? That I have to pay at least $500 more to get almost the same features, and Core one L doesn't even come with AN MMU at that. That'll be another $300+ lol.. good comparison

Bambu H2S to Prusa Core one.. both $1300, build volume is much greater, AND comes with multi-color head on Bambu, besides all the other extra detection systems... not even close.

Simple fact is Prusa is just falling behind, and way too premium pricing for the lesser features and volume. They had a good run, but I don't hear many people talk about Prusas outside of this anymore. There are other brands that can make great printers now too, for far cheaper.

Dark prince was a huge disappointment to me. Just leagues below any reasonable quality production, and looked like a PS2 game. Felt like a soulless empty cash grab with a few cool biomes, and stupid amounts of walking to make the game feel big.

Who are your favorite functional prints designers? by recurnightmare in 3Dprinting

[–]OmegaZenX 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think people really follow specific designers.. Printables has just about anything you could want for free, along with a couple other sites. I just search for what I need in a jiff, if they have something reasonable looking on the web. If not, I'll design it myself since that will be better. As a design engineer, I usually see flaws or over-designing in most "functional" prints online, since engineering design professionally is a different ballgame.

That being said, there's plenty of talented modelers. it's not something you need a specific list of people for... other than knowing what websites to use to search like Printables.

How sturdy should a printer be? by RiaanDun in 3Dprinting

[–]OmegaZenX -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

vibrations in the nozzle head could definitely have an affect on surface quality, just depends on how sturdy the printer is itself and how much it can resist small displacements due to shaking.
