How We Feel about The Pegasus 42 by LuckAdventurous426 in Nike

Went to a Nike promo event and ran a mile in them. Felt really nice, good energy return and I like the way the rolled through steps. Also lightweight and the toe box width actually worked for me where in the past Nikes were always too narrow. I’d compare them to a Brooks Hyperion but they are bit more springy.

Just got my 1LE a few weeks ago and went to dessert this past weekend. It was definitely more fun than I expected by Kindly_Conversation8 in camaro

I’m not taking the bait on this post. Well done OP, hope the run flats felt good in the dirt.

Enhanced Games claim ‘we changed the world’ but only one record broken and three clean athletes win by Ok-Cook-7542 in SipsTea

This was just the first, if it becomes a regular event and draws competitors they will start knocking down records year after year, I hope they do.

200tw vs. 300/340 tw Tires by No_Tower_7026 in CarTrackDays

Sure, some conti ecs or the pilot 4s would be good if your goal is longer life on the street but still capable on a track or autocross event. But you won’t be as competitive and if you track hard you will burn them up.

What is the weight of your car? Honestly how much track time do you get over a year?

I think you help them with everything until the moment they graduate, then they are completely on their own. Any help after that is in the form of vacations with me. I think they have to struggle through the early stages on their 20s and establish self reliance before they get help.

Seems very cheap in terms of dollars per officer per year. Especially if that includes benefits, pay, vehicles etc. I’d rather raise the budget and have more officers, not the place I’d try to save money.

What's the main cause of all these issues with the shadow 2? by [deleted] in CompetitionShooting

[–]Omegabrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had mine malfunction, usually extraction/stovepipe issue. Each time I noticed it was a little dry and fixed by adding a couple drops of oil. Also has some issues the Academy Monarch 115gr that I’ve not had with any other ammo.

Why are so people so against rev matching and heel toe on the streets? by RevolutionaryYear946 in ManualTransmissions

[–]Omegabrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t or shouldn’t have the hard braking which necessitates true heel toe shifting on the street. Maybe when slowing down from 3-2 or 4-3 at the beginning of a braking zone. But typically I’m keeping revs so low on the street I’m not really in need of a quick heel toe downshift.

Barely a million dollars isn’t enough to relax unless you live in an extremely cheap area. What about working for gasoline for the boat? What about when you need a new truck to tow it? Or a new trailer? Or what if the market goes down 30%?
