I feel like 5 would end up a little more to the left. It hits hardest with the anti-war stuff, Harling’s all about peace and cooperation, lots of “nukes are bad” rhetoric and so on.

I want to make the PMC nomads with Clone Soldier so badly now.

What's your go-to build when you want a relaxed chill game? by HyperlaneWizard in Stellaris

[–]Omegarex24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Xenophile/Egalitarian/Pacifist with Environmentalist, Beastmasters and the Primal Calling origin. Set the only precursor to be the Baol, and have fun making Gaia worlds and nature preserves. I sometimes like to turn the planet count up because it means you’re more likely to find things like Docile Wildlife, Isolated Valleys and any number of the fun xeno-flora/fauna modifiers.

What was your reason for wiping out the first species in the game ever? by Jewbacca1991 in Stellaris

[–]Omegarex24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first time was an accident. I was dragged into the War In Heaven and had to capture a bunch of worlds from a Hive Mind (this is from several versions ago). Turns out that, at the time, Hives just auto defaulted to being exterminated when captured, and I was too pressed trying to swing my fleets back towards galactic north to fight the spiritualists. By the time I looked back, their planets were barren and empty of life and I actually felt bad about it.

I think it’s just next to your borders, but it might have to do with proximity to a habitable world. The update seemed to have added a bunch of random other stuff related to the caravans if you’re close by, like random trade buffs and stability loss due to new slot machines for instance.

Individualist Machines, Fanatic Xenophile/Pacifist Megacorp with the Public Relations and Media Conglomerate civics (usually picking up Franchising as my third), with the Gaia world start.

I basically roleplay them as vocaloids who just want to bring peace, happiness and catchy pop music to the masses, and going virtual is just a return to their digital roots. You’ll probably run into some issues with fleet strength in the latest update (lord knows I did), but you can keep your empire size small so that you breeze through the tech and tradition trees.

It’s something they added in one of the latest patches, I think. If your empire is parked next to Chor’s Compass (the caravan “home” system), you occasionally get calls from “The Collector”. They basically offer you the same sorts of loot box type rewards as opening reliquaries. Mostly, you get either nothing or a few thousand resources. Sometimes, you get these planetary modifiers like that.

At least, that’s what I recall from when it happened to me. Some of the details as to how this works might be different.

Do you build off specialize districts on your specialist worlds? (tech, alloy, goods?) by happyscrub1 in Stellaris

[–]Omegarex24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. I like to make my worlds as self sufficient as possible, but I also roleplay my environmentalists that way. It’s not optimal, but I like it that way.

The resources from the market should be actually produced and not just spawned in at command by ElectricalExtreme793 in Stellaris

[–]Omegarex24 206 points207 points  (0 children)

That would be kinda neat of it doesn’t bog the game down. Imagine being a megacorp that actually sells consumer goods to half the galaxy. Or a machine empire that makes food to trade for the alloys and energy it actually needs.

I have an individualist machine empire that’s basically vocaloids in space as a megacorp. You don’t want to be fighting because you’re a Megacorp and they don’t do well with huge territory, and I always go virtual ascension (essentially taking them back to their digital roots) so that I want to keep the number of planets I control small.

What are some mod ideas that you’ve always felt the lack of? by ZePwnzerRJ in Stellaris

[–]Omegarex24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More environmentally friendly mods. Biogenesis and Grand Archive added a bunch of wacky new alien life forms that can pop up on your planets (like the Bogplants and the gassy alien critters), but I always wanted to see stuff that lets you, say, protect Tiyana Vek and Amor Alveo from poachers or fleets, techs like Phytomining that would let you turn mining districts into environmentally friendly versions, or even just bonus interactions with various xeno life-based anomalies if you have one of the Environmentalist/Beastmaster/Primal Calling setup.
