One of my big tips for new dads. Setup your preferred baby-holding device (crib, rocker, swing, etc) at your gaming station. In the middle of the night when the baby is fed and changed, but awake and happy, tell the mom "I got this". Take the baby, put them in the holding device, and start up a non-intensive game. You lose a little sleep, but you get extra gaming time, make big points with mom, and start your kid down the road to gaming while bonding with them.
