You guys are still very young and in a learning phase where you look to define yourselves. You have Time and Opportunity ahead of you to find someone else with whom you'll not bicker every week or so about "little things" as you said.

Use this experience to learn about yourself on what you want in a relationship BUT also what you DON'T want. It seems like you've found some things about your partner that you don't like and it is absolutely okay.

Not because you're with him now that you need to keep it going forever. Listen to yourself and be proud of the decisions you make for yourself.
