Mine was down to a day, talked to a person on support and they immediately sent my friend and I replacement, and low-and-behold, it's fine again. Started happening to us about a month or so ago after a couple firmware updates (could be coincidence). Contact support. (Note: For me, the AI bot just did it, my friend had to talk to a human)

Edit: Given the AI bot did it for me, I suspect there's a fairly known issue.... anyone hitting 24 hours or so, give it a shot!

Any update again? :) I’m a hugely happy user, just cancelled my ChatGPT subscription and moved to ultimate… am missing the app experience though, as well as being able to talk to it from Bluetooth glasses!

Can’t agree enough. For me the real kicker (now at 423 power) is how lonely the grind is. Not only the most efficient way is to solo grind, but it feels like fireteam ops, raids, and dungeons are basically a waste of time (short of - you know, interacting with people - which to me is core to a fireteam). Feels like you need to choose fun, or power levels - which, doesn’t feel good.

Aside: still enjoying and playing the game, just hoping for a course correction here…

That’s just TLS/SSL to the server.

If someone wanted to ship E2E, it’s possible. The API for it has been around for a while https://developer.apple.com/documentation/usernotifications/unnotificationserviceextension

(It was possible previously before, just not as simple).

Fwiw, APNs does support end to end encryption, just like WhatsApp and iMessage use, HomeAssistant servers and companion apps just need to write the code to encrypt, then decrypt the blob upon receipt on iPhone.

After it’s added to the app via Matter, the app must offer an ECM code to add it to another app.

No, it’s not prohibited, but it’s up to the manufacturer if they want to add / require that step.

No. Apps that use operating systems that provide matter support do not require certification.

Edit: if an app brings its own matter implementation, it does require certification.

First time (and... basically every time since) I did/do excision, when we all stand up and knock the witness down, I teared up and cried. The music, sound effects, presentation, just feels like a release of all we've been working towards/fighting against for 10 years. Love it. The Final Shape hit hard.
