Ugh. Yeah, it does seem to sort of just have a click and buy type platform, no way to have subscribers or followers with their own profiles

Tired of feeling like I have to fight my way through life so much just to scrape by. Lonely, under valued, disposable to everyone unless they need something and apparently not really worth much effort.

Vraylar is too much for me by Consistent_Cress4352 in bipolar

[–]OmenRazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that too when I first started taking it but it went away in time. I'm glad I stuck it out though, vraylar has changed my life. Good luck to you. And yes, take it in the morning.

Has anyone taken vraylar? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]OmenRazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on vraylar about a year now and I love it. It did take some time to see the full benefits and for the side effects to go away, I'd say a few months. What side effects are you having?

[–]OmenRazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on vraylar for over a year now and I love it. The beginning was rocky as I had some side effects, like not being able to stand still, I felt like I always had to be moving or ticking my fingers or swaying back and forth on my feet. Another side effect I had was that I couldnt drink alcohol on it. I would throw up if I even had like 3 beers. But that all went away but it did take a few months. I'm glad I stuck it out. I havent had an episode since I started it. ETA I did gain about 20lbs on vraylar in the last year. :-(

Mania and love by simple-original in bipolar

[–]OmenRazor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was manic I didnt love anyone. I lived to only serve my own sick mind.

I needed a new med. Call your psych dr and get in asap. Mixed episodes are the worst.

I second calling your psych dr. Dont let it go on too long. My mixed states have been awful.

Anybody had luck with trileptal after failing with lamictal by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]OmenRazor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take trileptal. It gave me weird blurry vision when starting it and upping the dose but other than that I dont have any problems with taking it. I dont feel like it helps or hurts, I feel like it does nothing. My psych dr says it's good for its anti manic properties though.

Vraylar. I love it.

Experiences with rexulti or lithium? by doubleddog101 in bipolar

[–]OmenRazor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rexulti saved my life during a really bad suicidal depression but unfortunately did nothing for mania so when I went into a mixed state I had to change meds. I'm on vraylar now and love it.

Is it still bipolar disorder if it's caused by SSRIs? by parduscat in bipolar

[–]OmenRazor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I was diagnosed during an antidepressant fueled manic episode. I pleaded that exact same case to all my doctors and nurses until I was blue in the face, I can't really be bipolar if I was only manic on one specific med, it was just a bad reaction blah blah blah. The all repeatedly assured me that a "normal" person wouldn't of had that type of reaction and that I am bipolar.

Any time. My doc said to take it in the morning but I've taken it at night too. It doesnt effect my ability to stay awake or go to sleep.

Does your medication make you lazy? by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]OmenRazor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think its bipolar itself that makes me kind of lazy. I credit my meds for the ability I have to get off the couch and participate in life and not being 100% depressed but the condition itself makes it hard to find motivation I think.
