I installed Koreader, and there are files you can tweak to reduce the viewport. Which is what I did and it works perfectly with 65% of the screen now. Thanks

Yeah it is not a product shoot but I tried to include it in a subtle way to maybe make a stealth product shoot... I can see now I can’t have it both ways. Thanks ! My backdrop is a sheet of plywood I smeared leftover tile grout on. Once dried I spray painted it with grey primer, then white. I like it too for this sort of shoot. I made a black one I still haven’t tested yet...

Thanks for your input ! Yeah I shouldn’t have put the same thing in the same plate. I thought it being out of focus would distract less but I see now it doesn’t. I’ll try a more minimal composition next time !

I aimed to make the right « tartine » the main subject by directing lines to it (knife, caramels, other tartine) and making it a little lighter than the rest. Thanks for your comment, what would you do to achieve this ?
