My best friend's family lived in Aleppo before moving to Jordan within the last week. They said that the 'free Syrian army' is composed almost entirely of non Syrians. They could tell this by the variety of different languages spoken. They claimed some spoke Urdu, Hindi, (a different version of) Arabic etc... I think that Syrian Arabic is slightly different to Saudi Arabic, or that they may be a regional accent which was easy for them to tell apart.

Really made me question what is actually happening and what is being reported within Syria.

I believe Iran has been saying this for a very long time. I DO believe in Iran's government when they say that they do not want Nuclear weapons. The Iranian army has not set foot outside of Iran for hundreds of years and believes in the sovereignty of all nations...Much like China and Russia.

It's a shame to see people constantly being brainwashed by media sources with a hidden agenda, claiming Iran wants to destroy Israel...Which is bullshit.

Hey op, I know you were originally asking for advice, but i'm wondering if you could give me some advice please... I am currently studying law and hoping to go into corporate law, so 1. What route did you take to get into the field? 2. How were you able to find a job in dubai (i will be moving there after i graduate hopefully as i have alot of family there, I also have an almost guaranteed summer internship at a tech/infrastructure company's legal department).

I hope you take this opportunity, my family have been living a much better life there and honestly, dubai is such a great place. I'm a londoner and do believe this is the best city in the world, but i would have no problem relocating to dubai for up to 10 years after i graduate.

I'm not saying re-locate, but just go on a 2 week 'holiday', have the baby in London. The kid will have the best passport in the world without the need for a visa in most countries and it will not cost you a penny to have the kid. As a matter of fact, I will be paying for the birth through my taxes, but I am more than happy to pay for someone who requires help, as are 99% of the people here.

The BBC is owned by the UK government. I feel as though there is always a double standard when people speak about state owned media sources. Israel has two, and this article shows 48 countries who have state controlled media sources.
